This was a 3 day on the Red Rooster sport boat. It runs about $2500 for everything. We actually do a 2.5 day on the ELDORADO out of Long Beach in mid August and it’s been really good every year. That trip runs $1500. If I had to pick the best month August would be it. Search our channel for the ELDORADO shows and you can see more of the good fishing this time of year. He did not. The deckhand did 45 min later and he ended up getting a glove on and just pulling it in once it got close. Bad decision with a bendy coffee grinder. Captains tell guys not to use those rigs: they cause problems.
Well to be honest people were pulling up 30# at the time... when I flipped my sardine in that started the bigger boys being caught. Still a bad call on my part. This literally was my first 3 day ever... I'm just learning.
