I always thought that by opening it up brake fluid would leak everywhere. But doesn't air get into the system making it so you need to flush your brakes afterwards? Or can you just bleed it a little to get the air out? Regards.
Yes if it's open air can get inside. So after installing new ones flush the brake fluid. But instead of waiting for clean fluid to come out watch for a smooth stream of fluid coming out. Make sure there's no bubbles, not even a small single one. After you are done just top off the master cylinder. Also while you are doing this, keep an eye out on the master cylinder. Never let it empty out. If you see the fluid level going down fill it up with always clean fresh fluid
Most sockets are 6 points meaning there 6 corners inside but fancy sockets are 12 point so you don't have to have the socket just right to get onto the bolt but 12 points don't grab as good.
Thank you for saving me amidst a panicked state, funny how simple cars can be with the right knowledge and care!

Mines rounded off do to rust its on an 81 monte carlo so all bleeder screws are the same right?
Is there any danger of getting air into the system when removing stock theater screens?
That's it? Thanks a ton!
Whats a 6 point socket? My bleed screws are also rusty.

HOW ABOUT SAYING SOMETHING ABOUT HOW TIGHT TO SET BLEEDER SCREWS!
You have to give it a couple ugga duggas with the 1 inch impact gun. Don’t forget the red loctite while you’re in there.
