Regardless, Classic Bridgespam and Pekka Ram Rider have always used some sort of ranged splash damage or high damage ranged troop (ie. magic archer, minions, mega minion, baby dragon, mother witch). Guess what ranged card is both high damage and has splash? It’s pretty easy to predict that a big buff to wizard would land it a spot in Pekka decks, considering how well he fits into it.
It would be better if there was the butterfly around the pekka that would act as a card and it would passively heal the pekka. So the ideal counter would be to arrows the pekka so it cant heal anymore
Next season they will add an arrows evo (1 cycle, 6.5 radius, same damage as lightning) (the reason is because arrows is a very underused card on all levels of play)

Or lumber loon with basically no viable evolutions (i know knight and wizard but those are rather there because they are evolutions and not because they fit in the deck). Hope Supercell adds evolutions in a way that more decks can be played in the future

I want to see how much health it can have

I think a rework of this ability where the heal is 20% of CURRENT hp could be cool, basically an evo ability that gets diminishing returns as the pekka losses HP, but if you manage to overheal it the ability is better than normal. 20% is spitballing, the number would need to be balanced ofc.
