- SCP 610 - Aftermath is a tale about a Keter Class anomaly also known as The Flesh That Hates.
Initial reports of SCP-610 came direct from the Russian government through undisclosable channels.
SCP610 appears to be a contagious skin disease at first with symptoms including rash, itching, and increased skin sensitivity. Within 3 hours the disease will cause blemishes resembling heavy scar tissue to form in the chest and arm areas, spreading to the legs and back within an additional hour, consuming the victim completely within five hours. Exposure to higher temperatures vastly decreases the time for the contagion to spread and complete infections have been recorded occurring in as little as five minutes.

@@lastofthe4horsemen279 They are separate. The Red Right Hand is the 05 councils personal MTF unit. They basically do their dirty work that the rest of the foundation doesn't necessarily need to know about and protect the 05 and their interests.
Samsara is an anomalous MTF comprised of 4 cyborgs touting the newest and latest of anomalous tech and who can transfer their consciousness to new bodies if they are destroyed. They are also specialists in all things thaumaturgic, psionic and magic. In other words, they are essentially immortal, highly capable, very experienced, and very, very deadly.
So long as they have new bodies to transfer to anyways. They do still need a support and maintenance framework. The jocks of all the MTFs.

This is a classic Broken Masquerade scenario. But, if you ask me, The Foundation broke their backs to keep people safe, and this is the thanks they get. Yes, they had done some very cruel things to anomalies for the sake of research. And is as bureaucratic as it gets, but all in all, this wasn't something they deserved.
For this Tale, it a prime example of why the Foundation must never let the masses know of the paranormal: They wouldn't know what to do.
It make thing worse for good anomalies that don’t want to harm anyone only want to live their life at least with the foundation they get live a comfortable life with free everything and all they need is follow the rule set to them like not leaving the foundation they are still allowed to roam freely in the foundation as long as they cooperate
Where as the GOC will throw you in a cell to rot and experiment on you without your consent and even kill you . The anomalies are treated worse then d class in that situation , d class are usually the scum of the earth and have done horrible thing where as the anomalies are born that way

Ive always gave the animation a pass because they upload so fast.
But Its become thier style. Its probably the best looking cheap animation I've ever seen.
Some of the unique faces for named characters could use some work though. Freeman in this video looked really offputting to me for some reason.

I know the GOC is doing the foundations job in this "story", but what about the thousands of scps that needed either a sacrifice or a ritual? Like the devour of worlds(a better example would be 231-7), wouldnt these scps just destroy the world?

Given the lack of cannon, it is most likely those SCPs don't exist in this particular SCP Universe. Just ones the GOC can easily execute or just shove in a cell to rot, and make the Foundation look really bad for not terminating.
Personally I still prefer the SCP foundation over the brutality of the GOC. There are a lot of good SCPs (that would have suffered horrible ends) that could have helped save us from worst ones. The GOC just killing everything is just narrow minded imo.

And it's true: they did everything they could to keep their activity a secret, even using extreme and inhumane methods.
But when comparing to the Goc, to the Sarchyc and the Chaos insurgency, you understand that sometimes the pill is not sweet, but it's necessary. For the greater good.

It's pretty sad to see that all those people risking their lives and dying trying to protect humanity just to be killed by the people they were dying to keep alive but I wonder how didn't the world end? Since the SCP foundation stopped how'd they contain the scp's? Like 682,096,173,049,035,106,017,and SCPS that could end the world?
Apparently they don’t all exist in the same universe so this universe must be the one where the dangerous anomalies that can end the world if you don’t do sacrifice don’t exist here or they somehow kill them which bring up a lot of plot hole like with site 13 because some of these things can’t be kill be normal mean of a lot of firepower not to mention some of them if die can cause unknown effect to the world especially reality bender or the GOG decided to contain these thing like how the foundation did it probably capture some of the foundation researcher to help contain them which is ironic
the only that seem to be here that is dangerous here is 610 but those things got terminated by the church robot
682 could be pacified by 053, with machines provided by the Church of the Broken God to safely take care of all requirements for the two SCPs.
096 could be dealt with by the foundation before it's fully shut down, since there was a canon where they dealt with it by sending it to the sun and destroying all pictures of 096.
173 could be monitored by the Eye Pods (I forget their numbering), with again machine automation.
As for the other SCPs you listed, it would be more likely they don't exist in the canon of the story.
Maybe the GOC just nuke or throw whatever they have at all the ending the world SCps and it worked?
Yea humanity are always hypocrites, they think theyre doing good but honestly they wouldve done much worse if they were the ones encountering those anomalies in the first place. They wouldnt have known the cteative thinking of rituals to merely stop an scp nor would they even bother, in reality (in the vid) its shown civillian just screamed "oh no!" And immidiately lock everyone up who has some form of anomalous traits,theyre no different than the SCP foundation, theyre only much more uh.."white knight" about this pretending to be saints by burning the "bad guys" aka SCP

With each video, I am convinced that the SCP may be a neccesary evil, and with each other video, I find myself wanting to write stories about the complete annihilation of the Serpent's Hand and the Chaos Surgency.
Also I really don't understand, I made a reading of that story, kill SCP members for what they did yet they now treat anomalies as threat like GOC? What the hell. This timeline doesn't deserve even deserve the reset of DATA EXPUNGED and Antimeme, may as well throw Skarlet King or Devourer here.

Serpent hand is a faction I don’t really have a problem with they want anomalies to walk among everyone else and work together for a better tomorrow keep in mind that they are willing to kill an anomaly if it prove too dangerous like what happen with the music that make plant life grow

The church are mostly neutral as long as you give them pieces of their god to them or holy place like 2217 they don’t seem to force anyone to join or do they want to kill all because they an offense to their god so they aren’t zealot not to mention they are willing to work together with other like in the first war of the flesh they join forces with people that don’t worship mekhane to fight sarkism
@@hungcuong606 Funny how we differ. Serpent hand is a faction you don't have a problem while I see them as something even worse than Sarkicism. Yes, Sarkicism are all mad and worship and evil God, however they are all out of their mind in a way of themselves being evil and believing that "evil is actually good". Meanwhile Serpent Hand can go between dimensions and they even can make deals with being like the Hanged King in certain stories, not to mention the mess they can create. They pretend to be heroes when they are just a bunch of trash that can make more harm than good in the name of "knowledged and freedom of information". Of all the factions, I believe that Serpent's Hand are the most evil and worst of them (along with the Serpent and all the thing about Destiny) while the Church of the Broken God is for me definetly the most good of the factions, I dare to say even more than the Foundation.
But that is just my point of view. I am definetly not friendly with the Serpent's Hand, and should I make something if that ever happens, it will definetly involves the Serpent's Hand getting some payback

You guys should s really take a second go at SCP-5000. It awesome alright, but also It your first video(s). Your animation and story-telling skills have improved drastically over years. Be interesting see you guys do again with these more refined techniques.

the worst part of this is how wholly realistic it is: did you know the UN in their pursuit of human rights, has actually enabled more wars and crimes against humanity? with pressures on governments to not openly declare war, things like vietnam can happen all the time since they aren't "real wars"

There is also another story called Broken Maquarade where North Korea disappears from Earth (due to SCP foundation) and the reality of anomalies was exposed to the public.
And in that alternative universe, SCP Foundation merges with GOC as the ultimate guardian of Humanity, with the military might and advanced military tech of GoC and the experience and skill of the Foundation.

With limited outside knowledge, SCPs that are a benefit to society should be free, while SCPs that pose a threat should be secured, contained, and guarded. Those that are granted freedom should be labeled as heroes to ease the population and the SCP Foundation itself should stay mostly hidden from society, except when they're "arresting" villians.

There's something similar. SCP-4010, "Attempt to look at what we accomplished" is about a researcher tasked with putting together a timeline of the history of the SCP foundation using all of their files, which doesn't go well for them.
SCP 055 and SCP 579 is literally the Trump card of the Foundation, because you will only know about it when you need to.

After watching a variety of SCP videos from various channels I believe that the foundation deserved this, if they took the ethics committee seriously and decided against the cruelty to both D-Class (some are civilians, members, children, and falsely accused) creating several dangerous anomalies that would love nothing more then to kill them and any human/male/female/researcher that they see, and mistreatment of various anomalies such as the water nymph leading to them becoming dangerous. I disagree with the secrecy part as I trust and have faith in people and believe that if people were willing, and smart enough there would be no need to violate rights.
I can see dr. Clef just sitting in a bunker with dr. Bright arguing about weather or not to lunch all nukes or let scp 682 go as revenge for all the scp staff that were killed in public
