Been to the Fort Worth and San Antonio Stock Show a few times. always had fun there. Even took a few of my international friends to the rodeo and they had fun too.

There was no Stock Show in 1944 due to World War II.
I Love Ft. Worth, it is the only city in Texas holding true to its pioneering and cowboy heritage. That other unmentionable city to the East on I-20 can not shed it's Texas identity fast enough, ditto to the other giant 250 miles South and the leader of this movement, our Capitol.
