Some of the best content that I’ve listened to till date. It is astonishingly difficult to build logic on top of religion and mythology per se but Mr. Devdutt has done it eloquently and patiently. Cheers to you Sir 👍

Mukesh Sir, Thank you specially for the podcast with Dr. shyam bhat. I especially liked the part where he talked about Western Dominance over medical sciences.
If you could invite J Sai Deepak on your podcast, you will be amazed to know how every aspect of over lives is affected by Western / Colonial line of thought.

But there is also something to be said about the conquering model, that it was that model that enables spread their ideas, culture, genetics while replacing the more pacifist Indian way, which tends to be kind of virtuous sounding, but also produces resource hoarders (while the conquerors are building brands)?

Somewhere in the conversation, I heard Devdutt say that Shri Rama becoming the king as the eldest was more like an accident and less based on merit. I know it is incorrect to pick a small part of a sentence and make assertions, but I'm doing it just to have a chat. Please don't take me the wrong way. If you consider Ram as the incarnation of Vishnu, his 'mission' includes the evolution of life, establishing Dharma, and exemplifying the 'MaryadhaPurushottam' life, among other things. So, if he had a clear mission, the caste he chose, the family he was born into, whether youngest or eldest in the family, and everything else might have been pre-planned. Ram was not born a Brahmin. Yet, he requested a person from a lower caste to write the Ramayana. Traditionally, being a Brahmin was a prerequisite for writing the Ramayana. Consequently, Shri Rama 'made him' a Brahmin. Even today, some may argue whether the caste system is based on birth or not. Perhaps it was not accidental that he chose a non-Brahmin caste.
Another thing I heard was about brand names and power. Sometimes, buying branded products makes perfect sense and is the most logical thing to do; for example, buying a Benz makes sense if you can afford it without going bankrupt and if it offers an airbag system with 11-way occupant protection, especially when you genuinely care for your family members. Some brands can withstand impacts from guns and bomb blasts, although regular people might not consider that relevant. Some of the branded products are truly expensive, yet some of them can last for 30 years while maintaining the same quality throughout their lifespan. On the other hand, if you opt for the cheaper versions, you might find yourself purchasing 30 of them within 30 years. When it comes to items like iron box or laptops, opting for branded products makes sense. An Apple laptop might be expensive, but your experience on the first day is almost the same as in the sixth year. Going for a branded Spiritual Guru is probably not a good idea (lol). A spiritual Guru should be capable of creating numerous Gurus, not just followers. Thank you, Mukesh. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Devdutt Pattnaik is full of propaganda. There are several such lies. Please don't consider devdutt pattnaik to be an authority on Hinduism. He makes money by peddling lies and gullible urban Hindus who aren't as familiar with the Dharma think of Devdutt to be some great master. Pls go to authentic sources.

Cz Devdutt understands neither dharma nor culture nor spirituality.
He is just a rambling fraudster who has been regulating same western views on Dharma for years.
I can suggest 10 names who have spent their lives to understand Indian culture through Indian lenses.
But then.. Such people don't have easy access to Mukesh Bansal :))

DevDutt - is ignoring the Hellenic, Bactarian, and Iranian Zorastarian dynasties. The Sanatana Brahman Waad is a Hellenic Idea. This Sanatan was created by the Soldiers of Alexander the Great who left his 40 thousand forces in India. They ruled India for Centuries Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, and North India. The Male Gene of Higher Castes is from Europe. The Female Higher Caste gene is locally indigenous. Could you please add me we will discuss this in details

Zero original thinking. I can tell 10 of people who have tried to understand "Indian-ness" And Dharma through their travels, penaces, Service.
Btw. Frauds like Devdutt are attractive to English speaking urban people cz most have clean slate as far as Dharma is concerned. Never been taught even basics.
