I like to make chai syrup with actual whole spices and brown sugar (just strain the whole spices out and you have a much better syrup than you'd have with ground spices). I use the syrup in lattes, with tea + milk or in oatmeal edit: oat milk obviously not regular milk
The berry and banana thing has been debunked btw! The study itself only had 8 participants and only focused on one part of the nutrition when there was a lot more factors in play. So I would still mix them together!!
Favorite thing to make for fall is a recipe from hot for food, its like these pumpkin roll things and theyre vegan and i look forward to it every year. One time i had too much filling left over and just used it as a pasta sauce. Highly recommend looking up the recipe if anyone is reading this😅
i live too far away from starbucks to try the new apple espresso so i made it (sort of) at home by dehydrating apples and processing them down with cinnamon. you can mix it with creamer/milk and froth it or sprinkle it on top of coffee/tea!
one thing i do with coffee is i add the spices in with the grounds! I like to copy an orange and clove latte i had at a coffee shop by adding ground clove to the coffee grounds and then orange extract to my iced coffee so good!!
I really love going to different cafes and trying things that inspire me to make even more delicious food, especially since I love sharing my food experiment on my RUclips channel
Next time you make the pumpkin spice syrup, you should try using whole spices! (Like a cinnamon stick, whole star anise, clove etc. Everything except the nutmeg because idk if nutmeg is safe/works). That way you'll get the flavor without all that grit!
Hiii!! I’ve been watching these forever. Was just wondering if you’d ever consider some of the older videos into a playlist? I love your sense of humor in those but it takes forever to get to them when I’m going through uploads. Thanks so much! :•)
I make cookie and kate’s pumpkin marinara a lot this time of year and it’s super creamy and comforting but healthy. It’s vegetarian but the parts that are dairy are easy to sub or leave out- butter to sauté and optional parm on top. I’ve been putting pumpkin spice in my coffee grounds in the french press or my pour over too and highly recommend
When I was a kid, I used to love beef stew. I recently tried the Beyond Steak and it's got a really tender, shreddy texture like slow cooked beef, so I'm going to make a "beef" stew with it this weekend! It's like, the coziest meal to me.
uhhh I love the idea of trying to veganise your childhood fav meal, as that is what I love to do over my yt channel, because being vegan doesn't mean depriving yourself of the flavours one used to enjoy
PPS! My favorite fall recipe is roasted cubes of butternut squash, tossed in sesame oil and seasoned salt, and roasted. Makes a DELICIOUS rice bowl with various sauces and other veggies. I like the veggies raw for a variety of textures. My favorite combo is all the veggies and herbs you would find in a spring roll (plus an avocado if I happen to have a good one) with a peanut sauce. Also so so good tossed in a fried rice with snow peas, carrots, beansprouts (I get them from my local Asian grocer) and shelled edamame. My favorite more traditional fall flavor is lentil soup with root veggies, smoked paprika, and whatever other spices I feel like chucking in there ❤
I love a good lentil stew too, on top of just made rice, I literally almost make that every week and show them often on my RUclips vlogs, but my favourite would be apple oatmeal, where you let the apples kind of melt in the microwave underneath the oatmeal and then top it off with more apples and almond butter (makes me melt from the inside) But overall butternut squash is amazing
I love autumn toooo the pumpkins, the vibes, and most importantly the APPLES I just love apples too much, that's why I've made a whole video recently about the fluffiest vegan apple cakes as I was trying to use up the 5+ kg of apples I "accidentally' picked up from different apple trees (sorry not sorry) 🌝🤣
Im not really a cheesecake fan but that sounds quiet good However, give me an apple cake and I will devour that like there's no tmrw, specially the one I recently accidentally made on my last yt video (like it was soooo fluffy for a vegan cake)
Thank you for the tasty fall recipes and tips. It’s been ‘cool’ (low to high 70’s) here in San Diego for maybe the past couple of weeks, so I think bringing in the fall now will work. 🎃 🥧 🥘 I absolutely love the Grocery Outlets in our area. However, the Poway location is my favorite, by far. They’re the only location that I’ve found, so far- and close to us, that has a ‘Last Chance’ for refrigerated items. They fill large produce bags with mix & match miscellaneous produce, close it up with a red band. They mark each bag for a mere $0.97 !!! These bags are stuffed as full as they can get them. A whole pineapple, lemons, limes, oranges. Large containers of spring mix salad, bananas, apples. Any produce in the store- if the dates are close to using them, or they just need to make room for the new shipment, everything is bagged up and set in the fridge for some lucky shopper. As you stated, there’s a reason the prices are so cheep, so you need to use those items quickly, or prepare them for the freezer. Just this week I found Miyoko’s Cheers to Cheddar for $0.97 a container in the Last Chance fridge! A few weeks ago they had Miyoko’s Pourable Mozzarella Cheese for $0.97 as well. I’m so glad people are recognizing Grocery Outlet more and more- - every little bit helps. I hope I can find that lunch steak meat you used. It reminded me of the ‘Steak-Ums’ brand meat that’s sold in the freezer section. I hope it’s cooling down in your area by now, and that you can enjoy your fall goodies even more. Be well, stay kind and blessings to all~
@@Hazyisasigmagirl, A safe and stress-free move and travels to you ✨ I made a stop at the Poway location later this morning while I was out running errands. They had just stocked the last-chance refrigerator! I bought 5 of their $0.97 bags. Altogether, they held 1 mini watermelon, 3 honey crisp apples, two 32 oz containers of strawberries, 3 bunches of green onions, one 16 oz container of organic spring mix greens, one 5 lb bag of golden potatoes, one 8 oz container of sliced baby portobello mushrooms and one 12 oz bag of cauliflower/broccoli mix- all for only $4.85 !!! I hope that the Grocery Outlets that are located in/near whatever area of San Diego you move to offer you similar, if not better savings. I’ve found that each one seems to have their own area of extremely low prices on their last-chance shelves. Also, each store may have their own low sale price for any given item. Everyday could bring a new sale, and even new items to the store. It’s always an adventure shopping there at stores similar to them. Have a blessed weekend~ Be well, stay kind and blessings to all~✨
omg love that, I wish I had one near me that did that I hate wasting food, and as a college student this is an awesome and cheap way to make my meals cheaper I've made some videos on me trying to finish and use Last chance products before when I got the change of getting some of them, I find this videos the most fun as I get to be super creative
@@oxanadc, I love learning any and all tips on how to be less wasteful. I’ll check those videos out👍 I found out the other day, while talking to one of the employees at the Poway location, that this particular store prepares these bags for a few reasons- all in the attempt to waste as little food as possible. Keep in mind that all the produce in these bags are still very much useful. I’ve never had a bag that had a bad oder, wilted lettuce, mold, etc. They have a couple of churches, homeless shelters, etc., that offer these to. Poway is a small town, with farms, orchards, etc. on the outskirts of it. Whatever produce that isn’t fit for donating or selling to customers in the ‘Last-Chance’ fridge, they donate it all to the farmers/ranches for their livestock. I couldn’t believe how low-waste conscious this store is! They really do make a conscious effort to be as waste-free as possible. Be well, stay kind and blessings~ p.s. A month or so ago, they had the 32 fl oz jars of Knudsens Kiwi Apple Greens at 6 for $0.97!!! Six for less than one dollar!🥝🍏🥬
@@grapetomatogirl2141 that sounds so cool, and lovely, I really wish all supermarkets were more conscious because it is true most of the Last change items are actually pretty good
aah I live in a dorm right now, no microwave and my college’s vegan options are pretty limited (salad, veggie sandwich, impossible burger) so I just watch these vids to imagine what it could be like if I had a kitchen lmao
as a college student myself I feel the struggle, another reason why I love sharing college friendly meals and easy to make recipes over my RUclips channel because being vegan shouldn't be seen as being complicated I try my best to share things you can quickly do to nourish your brain for studying
I love the silk or almond breeze extra creamy almond milk! I got lucky and found it on markdown at Kroger's because it expired at the end of the month. I stocked up.
omg sweet potatoes with lentil stew or stuffed and roasted in the oven are sooo good like I love sweet potatoes, defo need to make them more often for my yt vlogs and share more recipes over there

not to tell you how to live your life but just btw from what i've read caffeine takes a looooooong time to get out of your system so drinking it in the afternoon could be the thing messing with your sleep as you mentioned.
