After 138 became max level, he was the first person to 'officially' dethrone Zezima, who would never become #1 again, and held the spot for almost a year before Green098 took it. I remember he became quite the celebrity overnight.

I started played RS a In the spring/summer of 2006 an played devotedly until 2011 or so when I was perm banned. Thanks for making this video and bringing back a lot of old memories. I grew up playing this game and made a lot of friends in the process. I still to this day frequent private servers/twitch streams/RUclips videos to rekindle those memories. I spent many many hours growing up and playing this game and it will always have a place in my adolescent memory.

Zezima was cool as well. I remember I met him on a very unpopulated world while he was working on hunter, this was awhile after the skill went live. He'd come back from a break because of troubles with his partner, and actually spent about 3 hours talking to me and a friend of mine. I think his "silence" was definitely a case of people only trying to talk to him about the game, much like when you hear about actors being assholes to fans because they ask the same questions about their work over and over. The rumours of him botting though make sense, because a lot of the time he had the chat turned off, I think it was about 10 minutes of me standing there before he actually turned it on and started having a conversation. It's a bit of a shame that a player gets a reputation for not talking to his fans just because they're asked the same thing over and over. I remember him from my playing days as a cool dude who didn't mind shooting the shit with two kids for a couple of hours late one night, and a week or so later he even remembered his promise to invite me to his 99 hunter party.

nigga851 He was only able to do the Falador Massacre because of a glitch in the pking system, started when Cursed You kicked everyone out of his house after his 99 Construction party. There is no "Best" about it, he abused a glitch in the game code, and unjustly cost a lot of players millions.

Zezima in my eyes will always be #1, regardless of how many more years this game goes on. He is an actual legend, you wouldn't understand unless you played the game in his prime, he was looked up to as a god and treated like one as well. The guy is no joke, he is the definition of a legend. 2000 people would follow him around wherever he goes, he made the game super interesting, the guy deserves much respect. RIP Runescape though, Jagex and their staff is a joke, really unfortunate. Their lucky the game is fun, otherwise they would have burned it to the ground by now.

Wow, i remember knowing about The old Nite. I had no idea that's what happened. I caught myself in deep ponder of those time. I was in middle school during RS1 and HS when i was playing RS2. People like that were kind of a marker in a time in my life, even though I only know _of_ them.

I remember back in 07-08 Zezima appeared in the Varrock bank and there were sooo many people following him, there were more people there than the Grand Exchange.
This was a pretty cool video, its nice seeing screenshots of the old highscores list for the nostalgia. Saw my old friend Cyrano74 on there ;) Always made me feel like a pro having a friend in high places even if I never had more than 10m on my old account and my only 99s were cooking and fletching. How can anyone be certain that these people aren't/weren't secretly operated by j mods? The likelihood of Zezima being mod mark is slim? How can we know that for sure? Everything that is confidential and everything that transpires behind the scenes is vague and uncertain. No secrets will be revealed in runefest lol. What are the top RS players but mere puppets possibly designed by jagex to fool the general public. No one is capable of gaining and generating that huge amount of xp without becoming worn out or potentially bored with the game, even by using microtransactions. Further discussions will only hold more unrealistic elements to this subject but it's a common subtle theory to think about lol.
Some of these players are just completely lost in the clouded annals of time.. All they hold now are just a handful of images and videos that are frozen in history but this video serves as a nice refreshment lol :)

Saw my old friend Cyrano74 on there ;) Always made me feel like a pro having a friend in high places even if I never had more than 10m on my old account and my only 99s were cooking and fletching. How can anyone be certain that these people aren't/weren't secretly operated by j mods? The likelihood of Zezima being mod mark is slim? How can we know that for sure? Everything that is confidential and everything that transpires behind the scenes is vague and uncertain. No secrets will be revealed in runefest lol. What are the top RS players but mere puppets possibly designed by jagex to fool the general public. No one is capable of gaining and generating that huge amount of xp without becoming worn out or potentially bored with the game, even by using microtransactions. Further discussions will only hold more unrealistic elements to this subject but it's a common subtle theory to think about lol.
Some of these players are just completely lost in the clouded annals of time.. All they hold now are just a handful of images and videos that are frozen in history but this video serves as a nice refreshment lol :)
