Disregard what I said about the cryptic coat. It's meh. Dont put it in the deck. I thought there was an equip cost, but there wasn't.
The add of Hatred is a straight up gangster play. Even if you only have the bloodsucker out and you dump 39 like into hatred, you gain a ton of life back and everyone dies on your upkeep lmfao🤣
Walked into my LGS this afternoon to pick up 2 cards for a deck I’m working on, bought a single Outlaws collector booster, and pulled an Obeka! Game Time! 😈
Every suspend card that replaces itself after cast in suspend becomes a must have. All the courts are hugely effective

Midnight Clock goes well for ramp and you'll get to 12 counters to replace your hand pretty quickly.
Obeka with Reaver Cleaver and Aggravated Assault. Especially if she's equipped with Sword of F&F or even one of the M13 rings (upkeep ones).
Replicating ring is a great add for this deck, too. Especially with mechanized production.
This might be a bit more busted than her original version. I honestly can't wait to build it XD

I built it with attractions in mind from unfinity. Sadly it’s not an upkeep trigger. I was so excited, but I am still excited for her.

Seems like it is being over looked in most peoples lists, but Distortion Strike needs to be in this deck. Guaranteed 3 upkeep triggers for 1 blue mana, and if you have any multi-combat access in the same turn it's rebound nets you another 4 guaranteed triggers. Absolutely nutty lol
Doesn't Work this way as rebound specifially says "at the beginning of the NEXT Upkeep" and the rebounded card goes back to the graveyard after resolving.
@@dr4acula I envision: Cast DS, swing Obeka who cannot be blocked, she deals 3 damage, I end combat, resolve 3 upkeeps, the first of which I rebound DS, then play a land with Moraug in play, untapping her and all other creatures I control at the start of the second combat phase, she's now 5/5 unblockable for the second combat, becoming 6/5 when she attacks again (I think)
What am I missing here? 🤔

Depends on what the goal of the deck tbh. Of course, theres crazy cards that are mega expensive, like mana crypt. But theres always proxying cards. I used to have a galazeth list. It was around $1500 for cedh
@PubStompMTG I'm looking for the best you can get not counting cedh mana or cedh lands. We generally stay around 300$ and I'm looking for one of those two izzet commanders but I'm struggling building them. I have a few cedh decks and allot of my own builds around 300$ but I cannot seem to find the best route for aegar or galazeth
Is it just me or is this deck very light on buffs/ ways to get your commander through?
Your Commander does have menace, doesnt need a lot of ways to get around creatures. Probably can use more buffs
its grixis, I assume you're filling 10sh spots of spot removal. Just kill the control players only blocker, and nail em
throw in a silver shroud costume and a couple of removal spells, you should be fine i think

@@PubStompMTG sphinx of the second sun gives you an additional BEGINNING phase upkeep untap and all, there's a 3 drop blue enchant player that says "have an additional upkeep at the end of your upkeep" is all I know off the top of my head. Obeka is 100% far and away the most efficient source of our upkeeps.
Nothing else gives additional upkeeps. Qt least that I found in my deck list and I've spent a few hours of the last 3 days, so nearly over 10 hrs looking through every card with the words upkeep, phases and steps in her colours.

Aggravated Assault ability can only be activated as a sorcery and Braid of Fire mana empties at the end of upkeep. This mana can only be used to activate anything that is instant speed.

Absolutely, we only have a card image in japanese. I have it all done, just waiting for it in english haha
