After using the Trilogy 100 for 7 years (I have slowly progressive ALS) I just switched over to this VOCSN because Hospice saves money vs other devices combined. The machine is very difficult for me to turn off and on due to finger strength needed but it is quiet and works great so far. I've had it about 3 weeks now.

Would love to have this for my son. I imagine an innovation like this will have a hefty price tag, but I don't see it being much higher than the cost of all the equivalent separate devices to achieve all those therapies.
Homevent\Special Care Clinics could offer more troubleshooting for complex kids via coordination with home nursing or parental training and guidance. A minor cold might be treated at home rather than a PICU.
My hope is that kids with Medicaid who need the variety of therapies this machine can provide will be able to get one. I know I would gladly welcome a consolidation of equipment to have to transport and I love that you can do something like cough assist without doing circuit changes. I never would have even thought of a all-in-one vent patient system and you folks made it a reality. Amazing!

This machine has been the nemesis of our respiratory therapy program. It constantly has problems and is much harder to navigate between screens to quickly do a vent check. I am sure it is good for the private sector outside the hospital but for a hospital situation I would not want to see this in a patients room.

Which DMEs in Kentucky have the option for the VOCSN?? I am a trach patient, I use ventilation, oxygen, cough assist I use suction, and a nebulizer. I've always hated how hard it is to lug around the suction machine, oxygen, and ventilator when I'm out, and Mom can't do it anymore with her muscle problems. My Trilogy ventilator well most Respironics machines are now under a recall, and now I'm ready to ditch that Trilogy, and get a VOCSN.

I've been a ventilator user since October 2nd 2015, I use cough assist, xygen, and nebulizer, and suction. I'm trying to get a VOCSN, because lugging everything around from appointment to appointment, and everywhere else I go, Is getting more and more difficult, as my muscles get weaker. If I can't get VOCSN, I'm retiring to my bed, and will work there, an at that point, my trips to the Drs. and hospital will be carried out via ambulance. It's just too much. Getting VOCSN doesn't look like it's going to happen, because my DME doesn't even know for sure if she has one in house at James Medical in Kentucky, but she said she might. It's pretty bad when you don't know exactly what you have. But I hope to goodness I can get this VOCSN. Mom's old, and she can't carry my suction machine anymore. I'm blind, have a walking kane, and am on a ventilator. I can still walk to a decent extent, but my muscles are deteriorating. I cannot carry a Trilogy ventilator, a walking kane, and a Devilbiss suction machine. It's getting harder and harder each and every time I go out!!

I would love to have this for my son. He has Trisomy 18 and each of our children have their own set of ventilator needs. This is a game changer. We are in Texas and I plan to ask about this prior to my son being moved over from the hospital ventilator. He didnt do well on the Trilogy 100.

Why do you have to take the pt off the vent and bag in order to change to another mode??

I'm a home care vent nurse. I currently use the Trilogy 100 but my client is trying to see if he can get this fascinating and innovative ventilator!! I literally just heard about this 2 days ago. I so hope my client can switch over to this. He uses vent only at night. Uses suctioning machine and nebulizers. Rarely needs oxygen. Doesn't need the cough assist therapy. So I wonder if he would qualify for the machine. Thanks for this fantastic product. The wave of the future for vent dependent ppl!!!

What is the noise level for regular operation? Modern vents I have used and been around are quite loud compared to older options like the PLV-100.

This great for replacing the LTV-900 to 1200. However for covid patients I’d stick with a drager, servo I or any traditional ventilator. just my 2 cents working in covid country!

Hi Jared, VOCSN requires a two-step process to initiate and confirm shut off. First, user must hold the physical On/Off button for three seconds and then confirm the shutdown on the touchscreen.

After using this vent it's ok does the job. But it's such a pain in the ass to make changes. They should have made just one screen to make changes. Instead it's just a pain to make changes. Could have done better.

💯. Making any changes is a nightmare. The user interface is very, very unintuitive and convoluted. No external 100% button! Ridiculous.
