Just a critique but it has that Honda rasp to it at certain rpms. I would definitely add another resonator.
You mentioned the exhaust was 2.5”, this is definitely too small especially having a vvt motor, ideally 3.5” is the best for flow but 3” will do just fine, I’d do 3” header back with a vibrant resonator and a 3” hks muffler, it will get rid of the high pitched Honda rasp.
I had a 6-1 header on my bmw, with a 3.5” straight pipe, it had too much volume at first and I just wanted to quiet it down, so I necked it down to 3” and added a vibrant ultra quiet, it got rid of 90% of the rasp, but the volume only went down maybe 20% but it sounded great. It didn’t have the bmw rasp at all and it was pretty loud, definitely one of my more exotic sounding cars.
@@3kzack I fully agree with you man. I did say I was going to get that resonator I hate the rasp the n/a 2JZ has or for any car. The science behind the resonater is incredible and I have been looking for a bigger one cause the stock one was large
@@JSteezy3 it’s good that you understand that a resonator is what you need. People often get confused and think a resonator muffles the sound and that a muffler gets rid of rasp. Looking forward to hearing your new exhaust setup when it’s done!

Imo sounds a little raspy, I recommend putting back the stock headers and just change out the resonator
@@SofiaSclafani stock headers have a good sound but I got rid of my old ones cause they clogged up and that would be 4k to fix, all I need is another resonator and it should be smooth
@@JSteezy3 I feel that my gs keep throwing cat below threshold code and I can't get headers as my state emissions require pictures of the cat nor wanna spend a grand on oem headers so my best bet is to install a O2 spacer
