Video featuring total-play’s ECB approved innovative new hybrid 10 lane covered outdoor facility - the 'Cricket Shield' - at Bradford Park Avenue, funded by the ECB and Bradford Metropolitan District Council. Bridging the gap between a traditional outdoor system and an indoor centre, it protects from wet and windy conditions whilst encouraging air flow and maintaining a comfortable temperature; offering clubs, schools and centres of excellence the chance to increase usage levels of a typical outdoor non-turf facility, without the prohibitive costs of a permanent building!
Featuring two 40m x 20m covered domes, with state of the art lighting system, elite cricket surface and a retractable netting system, to enable both training and open matchplay.
Designed and installed by an ECB code of practice installer for non-turf pitches.
