- Alfie has no doubt inspired countless anglers to break the mould in the way they approach their fishing and the backdrop against whhich they target carp and other species. Whilst the years have changed a few things, many things remain the same, and in this film you'll see the highs and lows of a prolific carp hunter navigating life and chasing one of the most unique carp you'll ever see.
I think this is one of the best carp video's I have ever seen. A very talented angler and brave young man to come out about his mental health issues. I think ESP are lucky with Alfie and Terry to have two of the most talented carp anglers this country has seen.
This fella has a serious Album, for his age he would put these so called names to shame, Growing up in London this Lad is an inspiration, I commend him in not just his angling, in his out look, how he carrys himself, Hes an all round nice guy

A very old head on young shoulders. Clear high watercraft skills, insight into the behaviour of the urban and countryside Carp scene. This lad is the essence of fishing. He understands what fishing is all about, not a commercial tackle tart , just pure wild fishing and pure fishing. The future of angling.
Really enjoyed this, a fascinating insight into Carp fishing in urban London, and what a great guy Alfie is. Good luck mate, and a very shrewd move by ESP...how about a week session with the great man Mr Hearn and Alfie...think I would pay to see that one.
Nice to see him mention the struggle of real life and how corona effected a lot of us especially anglers. Big ups boss
Incredible fish captured by an all round passionate angler. Alf's album will always be special and when it comes to catching these unknown carp there aren't many anglers that could do this. The effort and time he puts in makes all this possible. Another exception carp, well done Alf 👏

look at the way alfie listens to exactly what he is being asked he doesnt interrupt and he answers with clarity in response straight away i see the natural trait of a craftsman ,id say hes a very quick learner and a natural ,some people,ie hearn have the ability to draw you in and you just become absorbed by this ,the same as i get when i go fishing becoming one with the surroundings ,amazing look forward to more

What comes across to me so strongly is not only your love of fishing but your deep love and respect and care for the fish.
At the same time you are talking about life experience ..it's unique and so original...the way you have taught yourself..the way you do it...and the way you talk about it....just beautiful...!!!

What an incredible looking mirror. In all my years fishing, and looking at carp photos, I’ve never seen a carp with those colours, a true hidden gem, and well kept secret, LOVE THAT. You truly are an inspiration to many, that are unable to spends loads of time fishing on a bank, and in true form, that watercraft and location are in fact the most important aspect to catching carp than sitting behind rods for days at a time. 9.40 stretch of river used to have a lot of carp and bream in it . Some huge ones at that . My Carp PB and my bream PB come from stretch of river (38.4lb and 17.1) . It also used to have some huge pike too . A lot of them fish have been taken and still are for the dinner plate . The rest of the fish have been decimated by 2 major pollution incidents . I was night fishing the second time it happened . It was so dark i couldnt see anything . When the sun come up , the knocking of my rod i had experienced all night (I assumed was crap coming down the river) turned out to be hundreds of specimen sized fish belly up washing down the river . I phoned the EA and reported it straight away . As i walked back to my car , many hundreds of dead specimen sized bream , carp and a few barbel had been caught up down stream where the river gets wider and shallows up . At that part of the river , all reeds protude the surface (7.30) . It was like a dead fish dam . It stayed like that for over 3 weeks until the EA finally turned up to clear it . The smell was terrible .

13:45 that must be one of the most beautiful carps in the world i've seen it before still makes a voice in my head saying wow when i see it!
I've learnt so much from these RUclips videos. I now spend more time pre baiting a spot etc. Had 9 carp biggest was only 22 pound which is now a pb. In December tho. No one else was catching. Got to my spot early saw the right signs. They showed up had a double take The 22 and a 14.. Well chuffed. Thank you esp

Well done Alfie mate, another amazing film from esp, you and Terry must do a series together. I could listen to you all day long, I would love to fish with you mate. I should be more mobile like this in my own fishing. Also I've experienced the same issues with my own angling due to depression and anxiety issues mate.

Angling companies should hook up with mental health charities! Fishing is the perfect medicine to help out the younger generation..and in return the companies get more angler's on the bank.

Carp aren't at the top as my favourite species but that 1 was beautiful and caught on the humble piece of bread on the simplest rig,lovely ,esp make the best films with Terry and now Alfie,Mega,👍

great mind and character...i think Alfie is connected...it´s not only "watercraft" it´s kind of a special "connection" ...carpconnection. Sometimes, when i spot carps...i am on the same feeling...difficult to describe...but it must be something like that...if you are connected...it goes often a successfull way...
