Tel desperately needs to release his books in an audiobook format. This is a no brainier as he’s the best at reeling off a tale, your there with him. Not a lot of people have got the ability to do that. I always revisit these after a few months as it’s engrossing content. Keep up the vids ESP with El Tel 🎣 🎣🎣
This is the third time I have watched the video, still amazed how little 'product plugging' there is... the video alone sells the product, I buy esp whenever I can... it is great gear but it isn't forced down my throat! Amazing angler, had the honour of meeting him Bankside once and this is just how he is! ESP deserve a lot of credit for this and Terry... well he is top angler in my books!
Yeah he's so down to earth. You get all these flash anglers driving around in their new VW and transit vans. Tel drives an old astra estate. Not sure what he's driving now.

Waiting for almost one week and than finaly it’s there.... it makes me emotional, brings me even into tears, that’s what carp fishing is about.....those beautiful moments! Brilliant! He certainly knows how to tell a story - one of the few modern day big fish anglers who uses his brain to really understands his quarry be it carp, perch, dace, zander or indeed anything else that swims! - Habitat, stealth, watercraft and bait application are the main reasons Terry is so successful. A truly old school angler operating in the modern era who's up there with the likes of Gibbinson, Mumford, Marks, Stone, Middleton and even Walker in my all time greats list of thinking/innovative anglers. Regarding casters; you watch, all the shops that have ceased to stock them (and even maggots) since pellets started to dominate the carp puddle match scene will suddenly now have a demand for them again! (suits me as I often struggle to get decent supplies for my big tench, roach and bream fishing!) - Unfortunately most people who watch this will buy them "cos Tel does" without a second thought as to why they work or whether they are the most appropriate bait for a given circumstance.
I always find esp/Terry Hearn videos to be of excellent quality. No useless waffle and filler it's all good stuff. Seems such a decent bloke. He really goes into the craft and application of years worth of skills and knowledge. The ammount of times you will watch one of his videos and he says something so simple that you never really thought about. Loved the in depth thoughts on water temp and high winds turning the water over and effecting the rate at which temperature changes. Terry your the man keep doing what you do 👍
I'm 50 years old and been trying to catch carp since I was 11. I remember it all back in the 80's 90's to date... I had a great laugh with Tel in the late 90's at Linear Fisheries. This guy is an enigma. Fishing is his skill in life. When I was around 30 an 18 year old lad who was local to me had a incredible focus and ability, I taught him knots, some rigs, he had the knack and magic and caught two NW 40lb plus commons.... aka both of them to exist. However, as a 9-5 worker you cannot compete with these guys unless you match their hours bank side. I know in my case I love fishing, but catching became secondary to being out there with friends enjoying it for me. Then, Cassien changed my carp fishing mind/carping world in 2006. Today (Oct 20230 and from 2021 onwards, I float or surface fish for carp totally alone bar the birds, squirrels, toads and other critters who share my world.
I love all tels films. Seen em all over n over. Read both his books over n over. Top angler n a top bloke. He’s right at the top of the tree. Also love all Nick Helleurs films too. Need to get tel n nick together for a film. Make it happen ESP xx

Terry Hearn is a fishing legend. He tells his stories with such passion, even if I wasn't into fishing I wanna get out there on the bank. Love watching his videos and gaining information from his experience and years of sitting there waiting for the rods to tear off. Massive respect and huge thumbs up.

Dude is a legend and so blessed with skill. You have a feeling he would have been great at anything he turned his hand to. Luckily for us it was fishing and storytelling. Big up to the production crew too, fantastic. No need for gimmicks, flashy cut-scenes and the latest clubs doof-doof music - Terry, Little Grey, top notch filming and a magnificent story are all that is needed.
