After my last fake mobile ad went viral, I knew I had to make another. So here's a fun ad for a game that does not exist. Some sort of keep-away-simulator. Surely things won't take a turn for the cursed, right? Oh. Nevermind.
Oh, ghost girl in the thumbnail is a bit of a misdirect. I wanted the robot to surprise you!

Sometimes i get curious and wait for it to end , one time the player actually won instead of failing on purpose. I never have been so satisfied seeing a player actually win in a mobile ad instead of losing on purpose

@@aaronking2765I thought the purpose of losing intentionally was to piss the viewer of the ad off to make them inclined to download the game to prove how stupid the player in the ad was. And it works enough for them to keep doing it.
@Aaron King Nah, they make the levels in those ads insanely easy to make sure whoever's watching is able to solve it pretty much instantly. Then have the player unable to solve it to piss off the viewer into installing it.
It doesn't bother me at all now but I know that younger me would've 100% downloaded those games to prove how easy it is, which is exactly what the devs want.
Think my favorite thing about this video is the thumbnail. Like the video itself is good but the thumbnail makes you think it's gonna be something else that happens with the princess, not what actually happens here.

Introducing portaboy progress (gameboy advance themed): now you both have to make sure you beat the microgames correctly, shoot the scary portaboys trying to kill you, and play the ad games in the correct way they say. If you want the LORE you gotta play the ads in such a way that you get these types of screens without dying.
It's funny cause I made this with Enchae, the programmer for Portaboy, so this is def Portaboy adjacent content.

I actually I really wish at the end there was like 2-3 frames of the player throwing a Soccer ball at their face before abruptly cutting off.

i ever was outcasted, is still outcasted and ever will, is a lottle annoying? yes .. but here i am woth 21 yrs old and got used to it already to the point i just care about the 0.0001% of people close to me, and these people actually like, differently from popular people where their friends are likely all fake.
so being outcast is good, only who truly likes you for who you are stay close and its a more meaningful friendship.
i might say that cuz i didnt really ever had the social-needy instinct of almost everyone have, and its good for me not to depend on others opinions, i am not afraid to be myself on front of everyone even if almost all of them hates me to the core.
i dont know if it is hatred or jealousy because i can be myself without a worry... because i can give a "fuck it" to society and people and dont feel the need of the giant mass of people around me.
the only reason i want to get randos to like me and m work os to get money, my social circle will ever be as tiny around as max 10 people including family
so putting short, the real horror isnt being outcast, it is having a fake life, using a fake personality as mask and be surrounded by fake people.

It seems very scary at the start but then you can realize..... Its all an ad, you didn't even downloaded the app and the ad shows it will use your personal information to kill you, while still having the ui, perfection, will definitely download! (of course no, even if this was a real game.)
