As a seasoned metal guitar player learning about the world of synthz it adds to your credibility that I spot an EVH, an ENGL and a Custom Audio Electronics behind you. Had it been Vox, Two Rock and Matchless combos I would have had my doubts..... :) Based on your accent I would say somewhere in Eastern or South Eastern Europe,- though it could of course be South America too,- you just never know... Thank you for your kind comments!! Yes, I picked up guitar at the age of 15 and always sticked to the best amps that I could get my hands on... Huge respect \m/ Eastern Europe is very close haha.
@@DrMikeMetal i've mentioned it on another synth video from you, that it would be cool if you do a video where you show your mixing process for synth . Btw great video, learned alot, awesome.
Request. You have your symphonic metal with pads and full orchestra sounds, you have just demonstrated how to let the synths follow the guitars,- how would you write (design) synth sounds and passages that speak in contrast to the guitars and have their own fully equal voice to the guitars,- Jon Lord/Ritchie Blackmore of Deep Purple style? (The famous Hammond into crancked Marshall as a contrast to the guitar.)
Great call! Definitely a more sophisticated approach as you would enter the classical music territory with the counterpoint melodies. I'll see what I can do!
Doesn´t have to be counterpoint or neoclassical,- just let the synth be its own voice and not just an afterthought to the guitars,- let it rhythmically play where the guitars aren´t,- though power metal, Vikingr metal, neoclassical and folk metal would be great,- especially with emphasis on the keyboard/piano/ synth side as I feel it´s greatly underrepresented. I´m thinking Frozen Crown, Stratovarius, Tyr, Blind Guardian, Delain, Epica, Nightwish, Powerwolf, Ankor, Snow White Blood, Amon Amarth, Blackbriar, Dimmu Borgir, Satyricon etc.,- just to name a few. Would be greatly appreciated and thanks for the feedback. Stay Metal.
