Hey Luke! Wanted to say i've been loving the mod! This was highly anticipated for me and I can't wait to see the full picture over time, you've made Elden Ring and AC6 so replayable for me it's not even funny! I'm curious, with how the network connectivity works with the old dark souls games, is it even possible to create a mod like this for a game like say..DS2?
I'm grateful for the feedback so far, I honestly didn't expect such big reaction! To clarify release schedules, even though the mod is functional and could be used immediately, I'd like to spend as much time as I can fixing issues and adding QoL features so make an acceptable initial release. I'm not comfortable to comit to a release window yet. I'll post another progress video when I can demonstrating scaling / death & checkpoint mechanics / other missions when I can, and I'll have more information then. Since the mod is much more popular than I expected, I would like to kindly ask for your patience so that I can make a smooth initial beta release in time. Thank you.

As a modder myself I know all to well how much effort goes into stuff like this, and also that you want to release a mod "up to standard" so to say. Even if u gonna ever release this mod with at least 50% functional that u mentioned - people will be really greatfull for opportunity to play duo/with crowd of friends So take your time and dont rush anything, even after a couple of mouths people still will be waiting for it :^)

You know what this mod needs? More enemy placements, maybe triple the common mooks since one AC is already an overwhelming force and two is an overkill and of course we should buff the bosses too for balance
Yeah i as thinking this as well. Even just the DS2 enemy spam would suffice for now. Obviously make it optional for people who NEED the ease of co op/don't care and have more enemies/difficulty for those who want to do this for novelty/a challenge.
New enemies are probably gonna be a thing for other mods to handle, but scaling is gonna be there! (It was meant to be active for this video already, but we ran into an issue with it)
I was also thinking that more enemies would be good. I started looking for a more enemies mod for AC6 like how they've done for the Souls series. Hopefully, this co-op mod will encourage more mods from the community to play well with the co-op mod.
Ice Worm has it, if these guys have it then likely everyone has it. With the trailer it also looks like a multiplayer trailer. Probably the coolest discovery.
Yeah pretty sick, probably just so happens that the code is in place to work for multiple targets for all the AIs since its already in many ALLY missions. They didn't feel the need to remove that feature per mission.
@@kyellebantog7720since tha player can use a shoulder weapon that summon drones and the enemies can in fact attack those is clear that all enemies indeed have multi target capabilities
The Blue Acolyte mod stops hackers from doing some malicious things to you as well as a global blocklist for known hackers. It allows you to see a comprehensive data view of your opponents ping's when you do invasions or any online play. It also has some quality of life improvements for Duelists and Invaders like infinite tokens for arenas. @@omid9702

I was really blown away when the host died and it cut straight to the guest who finished the boss off. I was expecting it to end the mission. That's such an amazing touch, really just excellent.
I was a bit surprised something like this was not already implemented into the game. I forget which AC game it was but there was a co-op mode in one of them. With how much fromsoft has learned about implementing multiplayer through the soulsborne games this would have been very easy to accomplish.
This is so extremely impressive! I don't know how much you had to do under the hood but it works so seamlessly it almost seems like it was intended from the start. Amazing work. I did notice that you "died" at the end but could keep fighting, I assume because your friend was still alive. Not sure if that will be addressed, BUT I think it's actually a great feature for someone who wants to experience the game but don't feel at the skill level to get through it all on their own (like myself). More people need to experience this game's beautifully melancholy story and this can help.

I am all for blasting through things with a crew, but I do wonder if it could be kept to par so that it isn't a complete stomp. its crazy how balteus missles target both players at certain points, i wonder if that could be a feature where bosses/enemies have multilock as well?

I had to remake event / world / enemy networking myself which was quite challenging! I'm fairly happy with the results though.
