@@pauliusmatiusovas4102 - yeah, and that $500 filter cleaning isn't covered and is not a Freightliner recommended solution. Only solution acceptable to freightliner is a dpf filter swap out. The filter swap out is not covered under warranty and all those fault codes that creep up after filter cleaning will have you go bonkers

If you get more repair in value than what you pay for in warranty, it will be a money losing proposition to Freightliner and they won't offer it. Anybody that buys extended warranty is an idiot. Save that money for other use. Freightliner only sell you the warranty because they make money from doing so. You make it sound like extended warranty is free while it isn't.

If you are spending money to make a lot of money vs working for someone else for a consistent paycheck that is up to you. But arguing over what isn't covered is like not picking up a $50 bill on the ground because bending over could possibly make your back hurt.

Yeah, emissions components are covered but if your DPF filter needs cleaning, your on the hook to pay for the swap out.
