Full time, part time...10%, does it matter? As long as your family is taken care of you have the right to consider yourself anything you like. It doesn't matter what anyone else may think. You do great and I know family is first for you!

Chris, I absolutely love ypur channel. I have a shelf subscription and to be honest I would pay $10 for that subscription and here is why. You are honest, sincere, kind, thoughtful, & fair ( I had no idea you moved cards around to give everyone an opportunity to be mentioned in a video). So many of the big youtubers are just full of themselves. Your channel is real. You show how it really is.
I started my channel just about a year ago. And honestly I have spent more time on RUclips making content than I have on ebay. Which has dramatically affected my sales. But here is the deal I do it for the same reason as you...give resellers actual real advice. Keep on keeping on Chris! You help more than you realize. I know that you sent quite a few viewers to my channel... I really appreciate you!❤

Times are tough. It is very hard to make a living on ebay these days. You gotta do what go gotta do.
7:50; according to the the IRS & Affordable Care Act, anyone who is working 30+ hours WEEKLY or 130+ Monthy is considered as a full-time employee.
The IRS also mentions that anyone who works LESS than the 30 hours / week is considered PART-TIME. So, it does not matter if its your only job or not.
If you do not meet the 30+ hours working each week, you are a part-time employee, not a full-time reseller. This was fun! Thank you!

You could drop the full time, part time, and just be a "reseller". You can learn from watching either one, doesn't matter to me. Most of the channels I watch now are because I have met them and/or like the content.

First, "full time" is considered (i believe) to be whatever provides your main source of income. Just cause you have a second way to make additional money, it doesn't make you primary source of income less than full time. For example, if i work at BK and i make 400$ but i have a few hours at McDonald and make 200$ does mean that I'm not a full time employee at BK. That is my main priority job and if i have to quit one base on current state, i would quit McDonalds because its only 200$ a week.
Currently i work for a company and it provides my main source of income. I'm full time there and i use eBay to provide supplement. just cause i do both doesn't mean my main job is not full time ;). But then again, who cares, as long as you are doing what you need to do to provide.
Secondly, if people don't like the idea of sponsor, then they should not sponsor. but if someone does, then that means they are ok with it. and they can always quit at any time. you haven't offered something that you haven't committed to do so it is what it is. i would understand if you were making promises in return for sponsorship and not coming through. then i would say you are ripping people off, but even then, eventually people will catch on and stop sponsoring you.

Since all of your RUclips content is about reselling, I think it should count toward 'full time' reseller status. Also, I love your shelf 'shout out' program, and might join someday when my store is a bit larger. Keep doing things your way and don't let the trolls get to you. Peace.
I have 2 full time jobs. My normal 9-5 and reselling. I put just as much into one as I do the other. Working on getting that switched up. I am in the process of doing that on my RUclips channel. Waiting for the final piece of the puzzle to come in so I can finish my next video.

My go pro is on a small tripod that I can hold or set down pretty much anywhere.

To me full time vs part time is a self designated description so whatever you consider yourself is what one you are.
I personally base it on time, If you are spending more time on You Tube, then you are more of a full time You Tuber and a part time reseller. I work a few hours a week on eBay compared to my full time job so I'm a part time eBay seller. Keep up the great work.

Honestly, who cares where your money comes from, unless you're one of those RUclipsrs telling everyone how to make money on eBay, etc while literally not working much on eBay. Too many RUclipsrs giving horrible advice because they're only looking for content to get paid. New sellers are losing a lot of money because of RUclipsrs they trust, but shouldn't.
I'm pretty critical of content, being a professional writer who has to go by a certain set of rules when covering something. I haven't seen you be dishonest by making crap up that is a straight up lie. I deal in 78rpm records, something that requires a lot of specialization. A bigger RUclipsr posted a video about how he would make crazy money ($40 to $75 per record) on a group of records he'd just bought. You could see how bad their condition was and a simple search on eBay would show this guy was full of crap. But how many sellers when out hunting down these very very common records thinking they were going to make a ton of money? Also, the person who made the video sells virtually no 78s based on what their store says. I bought 25,000 78s in July and another 20,000 in August. I took 1400 out of the 20,000 collection and gave away the other 18,000+. I took 4000 out of the 25,000 and gave away the other 21,000. What I gave away was the kind of records this RUclipsr was claiming was worth tons of money. I shared the video in the 78 groups and they laughed as they trash these type of records. But hey, it probably made the guy $200 in revenue and that's all that mattered to him. Even if 100 people around the country bought crap records for $20 because of his advice, he cost people $2000 they'll never get back as the records are hard to even donate once you've found out they're garbage. I don't see you doing that.
BTW, I believe if you're putting in 8 hours a day into something, or 40 hours a week, you're full time. If you're doing 40 as a RUclipsr and 40 as a reseller, you have two full time jobs. Been there. If eBay would get its crap together, I wouldn't have to be a double full time reseller. Unfortunately, I don't see Jamie getting his crap together, and thus, eBay's. Hopefully they fire him soon.
For me it has always been based on your other work, then again I think titling it as full time or not is pretty silly. There are part time resellers that make a lot more money per month than many full time resellers. If you asked me what your work title would be I would say entrepreneur, you have multiple streams of income, and you should in todays age. You are hustling multiple jobs but all of them are YOUR business, not working for someone else's business. That said, keep doing you and keep paying your bills and hopefully being happy

Yes entrepreneur is a better job title but if someone asks me more specifically I say I'm a full time reseller because I spend 16-20 hours a day on my reselling business but agree in this day and age you do need multiple streams of revenue

I don’t think you need to justify why you have the channel memberships. It’s voluntary. There are other ways that You Tube content makers earn money-eg Patrion. I think I’ve misspelled it. Plus, you can move my shelf if you need to. I just like when you say “ It’s Cathy time” which you don’t have to do either.

I have no desire to turn it around. I love making videos and when I can make money doing what I love, I will continue. I am making plenty on reselling and youtube for me.

Don't be surprised if the Broncos cup is returned after the whoopin they received by the dolphins. Hahaha. You speaking well of others has me routinely watching grams n pops and CNY but I don't think anyone has bought from me because of you mentioning my store. No biggie but just thought I'd throw that out there since you brought it up.
LOL about the Broncos, they were horrible! With the store mentions its tougher for sure because people don't search by stores anymore. Most people just search for items. I get messages from time to time about people making sales from other viewers.
ADH Dave probably gets 75% of his money as an "Entertainer" and online presence. So only about 25% as a "Reseller". Frankly, from what he buys, I don't think he could survive, if he had to pay all his bills from "Reselling". I have no problem with that, more power to him, but I wouldn't consider anyone a Full Time Reseller, if you aren't getting more than 50% from Reselling.
Yes seems everyone has a different ideal of what full time is. Glad I made this video! As far as Dave goes I don't blame him honestly. You have to chase the money and go where you are making the most. I would be pushing out videos everyday if I made what he makes on them!
A pretty cool thing happened this morning! Yesterday I messaged a fellow seller (and now fellow RUclips video watcher!) about one of her items that she has for sale. She messaged me back that after she got my message she was watching this video and heard you say "l2r1100" and then "Lady Picker" and messaged me about the coincidence! Small world eh?!
Full time versus part time - It's personal. If you believe yourself to be a full time reseller then that you are, Part time? Than that you are. As for the customers? They believe you're full-time! : )
