Correct me if I'm wrong but i think 10 times zoom is real maximum in term of sharpness and beyond that just cropped. On the photo is enough just capture using zoom 10 times and zoom the certain segment after. Could be the same with the video footage but with bigger resolution as possible.

Hey man ! What would you suggest for someone who's planning to shoot 4k videos with a tripad (I don't use stabilization) in lowlight environment ? Main criteria is clarity. I want to be able to crop in post-prod up to 400% and still have details. Thinking about the P30 Pro, do you think there's a better android choice ? Cheers !
awesome P30pro! camcorder US$200 can do it too with 70x Optical Zoom beside main problem to much for flexibility for class phone is crazy camera lens super awesome..

@@mathphotographer Over saturation? The colors on the S10 Plus are way mire saturated than on the P30 Pro. The colors on the P30 Pro look more washed out imo
I did in my video in the Swiss mountains, see my channel. However, most often people will use their smartphone hand-hold so I tried to provide realistic environment.
For video it seems to me from experimenting that 15x is the max, could not get more zoom out of it on 4K UHD. In general, for good quality I would not recommend to go beyond 10x.

a small thing think you should make it clear, because there are P30 PRO and P30 series, they're different, but so far it's a great review.
I imagine the p90 with better zoom than the p9000 lens for pro cameras xd.

You are right, 10x is the max if you want clear footage.

My p30 pro not zoom like this in video mode only 15x. Which software you are using to zoom please let me know.

Colors are in my opinion over-saturated, well observed. You can fix in post-processing but yes, saturation seems a bit high.
