P30 pro has a red hue in video mode, Huawei should address that.

Leica filters other videos don't show this red hue.
Maybe it is intentional. Asians generally have yellowish skin and the red hue helps to make them look less like sick people. Just a theory

I love how you make these videos. Usually, I see channels take their camera to the exact same place for their comparisons. You, on the other hand, take your camera on a trip and basically allow us to get a good feel of your journey with so many key moments along the way. To me, it gives a better idea of how the camera performs since the scenarios are so diverse. Keep up the good work and thank you for making these videos!

Skin tones are absolutely awful. Some weird artifacting on out of focus areas. Not exactly a DSLR/mirrorless replacement..

Why is everybody skin so red? Surely this is a bug or some kind of wrong setting. Maybe the vivid color camera mode is selected rather than the default one.

I think Dave2D mentioned that issue in his video about P30. And, apparently, it's a thing for asian users, who mainly have a skin with yellow tone.

That color AI thing at the beginning is amazing. It's like a music clip. People are sleeping on this function that pretty much only Huawei camera offers for now.
Hi ed here, and I really liked this video. I love to see smartphones get pushed to do more than just social media. Smartphones today are so underutilized, they have such great potential, and this video proves that they are getting close to replacing a DSLR. Great video.

In my opinion, cam app can identify some
general situation(Correct color).
But the reality is more complicated.
The colors look kinda red/yellow in these photos.
If Huawei fixes this problem, p30p will be best camera(photo) phone in 2019 Q1.
(S10+ performed more balanced now.)
BTW, Xperia 1 is probably the best video phone.

P30 Pro is good at photo, but lags way behind S10+ in video.

This is because it use 10mp binned resolution which lack 2mp for True 4k resolution, and they upscale it for the minus 2mp unfortunately the vid is direffent than photo so even with the processing the detail quality take hit
But the video quality is greater then samsung..

The RGB ultrawide is used in tandem to correct color shifts caused by the RYYB sensor, the DSLR lens or the rig frame was likely obstructing that lens causing color distortion, especially causing everyone to look like lobsters.

Gives very good perspective on mobile filming in years to come. Even with gear like that picture quality in most cases is not good at all. I guess it's safe to just go ahead and buy something like x-t30 and have much better picture comparing to any phone with any gear for at least another 2-3 years.

The camera shots from the P30Pro are simply better (by far!) than other devices on the market.
But the video quality, is just garbage (or call it dissapointment, whatever).
