Always great review!! Thx! I had mine for 2 weeks and took about 2k photos...BUT my lens creeps from 50 mm to full 400 mm if I hold the Z9 with lens facing down. Agonizing to shot food makro on a tripod.
Nice Shots @ Weltklasse Zürich. Even though you are quite far away you got some good shots. The range you showed at the lake was quite impressive. And yes, the lens is sharp enough for most szenarios. As Always, thanks for the video. 😊
I relied on your previous remarks to my comments on your video of the 24-120mm and just bought this 28-400 mmm to pair with my also brand new z8. It’s really a great combo for a serious hobbiest who wants to travel light with family and don’t want to spend tons of dollars and space in the bag with many lens for that extra sharpness. Thanks for the video !
I took this lens to Baffin Island a couple of weeks ago - to use on my Z8. Flawless ! Works brilliantly as a wildlife holiday lens. Get review. I should add, my choice would have even the z24-120 with the z180-600 but my internal flight restricted cary on weight to just 8kg.
with these Z cameras, you can easily go to ISO 12600 and not suffer too much grain. f2.8 yes, and the z24-120mm f4 is superb! The zoom is question, as Matt says is a lens you can go anywhere with.
Another great video and perfect for travel.

Always good to hear your solid cogent opinions
Many thanks!

Thanks Eugen, I think the lens is really an allrounder, Nikon did a good job!

I have this camera/lens combo but haven’t tried any sports yet. Your samples are encouraging. Thank you.

Thanks for sharing, that's exactly what this lens is for, restricted travel or self-imposed restrictions on weight and gear.
A great review. Completely agree with the assessment.
Thanks Marcus.
When is reviews for Nikon z 180-600?
Math Photographer - Please do technical and image quality (tonal and rendering) comparison of Leica M11 + 35 APO and Q3 43 ❤
Is Zf with this lens is too big for everyday carry setup even to mall?
I'm waiting for the new Tamron 50-400 lens, that looks quite a bit better to me for the same money.
very valid content
Thanks!
Gut gemacht. Gibt es auch Videos auf Deutsch?

A nice air pump! 😉
Oh yeah! Airpump is a nice word for the lens 😂
