Something I absolutely love about Sevy's guides is that she takes a characters DPS potential and other fun builds into consideration too! It's not just what the majority of people would use them for, but also lower AR players who need a DPS, or people who want to try fun builds. :)
is how it should be, if it wasnt for the DPS check that is the abyss, u could build wtv composition u wanted and have fun with it, i wish they remove the timer in the abyss and instead just make it very very hard, there is already a lot of mechanic that could make the abyss a very challenging experience, without the annoying dps check.

@@sallyhope2137 i dream of an abyss where u could go up till floor 100, and u could use food and alchemy and be alllow to enter with a party, each floor would have like 10 times more mobs than the abyss now and the mobs will hit like truck, that way food and alchemy wont be useless, healers, shields and abilitys like Jeanne C6 would be more relevant, and the game being online will make more sense.

Also able to grind exp for your characters as an alternative to leveling up with talent books. A Genshin player can dream 😂
I can't recall how many fatui agents I've drowned using her. She's my first 5star, and i put her on bench for a long time until i decided to heavily invest in her. Shes now my quick swap healer who contributes a decent amount of damage. Saved me from wolves in abyss.

She can be your healer, DPS or batter for other anemo characters...or a very fun and deadly buidl is sunfire w Benett.

Jean was my first 5* back when I started playing and haven’t stopped playing her since. Some might see it as unlucky, but I’m super glad I got C2 leveled up and geared up Jean for sure. Super nice guide!
I pulled Jean with my first 10-pull from the Noelle Beginner's Banner. She started as my Main DPS since she was my only 5-Star and, objectively, the most powerful character in my roster. Once I started pulling other characters like Xingqiu and Zhongli, she became my Main Healer and I've used her ever since. She's been, kinda, replaced with Kokomi as my Main Healer, but it depends on which Comp I'm using. Jean is my Healer for my Raiden Comp. Jean plus Eye of The Storm is just too good! Also, since Raiden is all about Chain Bursting to power her Musou, Dandelion Field makes her Immortal during Musou. :D I tried Sunfire with Raiden and didn't like it. Overload kept knocking the enemies out of the Sunfire. Basically I would Sunfire, then Musou with Raiden and she would have nothing to hit, kinda wasting the Musou because the initial Burst of the Musou knocks every enemy beyond the boundary of Sunfire with Overload Proc. Still, my Healer Loyalty is to Jean because she Hyper-Carried me through Monstadt, Liyue, and the second half of Inazuma. RNGesus, apparently, has seen fit to reward my loyalty because of the course of the last year (I started playing about a year ago), I've ended up pulling a C4 Jean. So, yeah, RNGesus be like, "Oh, you like Jean so much? Here. When you fail the 50/50, you get Jean." Honestly, these 50/50 pulls are a big reason I still have loyalty to Jean. How can I replace a 5-Star Healer when she just improves by leaps and bounds every few months due to pulling another Constellation for her?
I’m ar 45 and got Jean on zhongli banner which made me depressed but this made me feel better and I’m not depresso anymore because anemo is actually pretty POG
She was my most played character during the first year in the game. Absolutely love how she fits into any team. And now that she’s c3, I just need to pull her once more to make her an almost universal support for any element ahaha
Jean was my favorite to bring to coop domain since ppl usually dont want to play as healer, i can use jean both as dps and a healer at the same time so i was able to to damage like i want to while keeping the team alive. She's a really flexible unit and i love her ❤✨
I needed this video so much, I absolutely adore Jean, her design and personality. But for a while couldn't figure out how to play her better, thus shifting priority to other characters. Turns out there's so many interesting and fun things you can do with her, I love all the little tips and tricks, I would never have guessed it all myself. got her c1 on my birthday last year, and her c2 on my birthday this year. i think jean is severely underrated and simply such a good asset as a cleanser/swirler/healer for so many team comps. glad she's being appreciated more nowadays

Jean is for me mainly used when I want or need to use the classical freeze team. Which in my case is Kaeya DPS with Chongyun for cryo infuse and subDPS support, Xinqiu for hydro subDPS and Jean as subDPS, lower resistances and healing. One of my best teams for enjoying Genshin Impact with only Jean as a 5 star. She uses 4 piece viridiscent and Amenoma R5 as sword.
Jean's Japanese VA was the reason why I got interested in this game and in turn made her my favorite character. She was my 2nd 5-star character (next to Klee) as I got her from the Standard Banner in 2020. She's in C2 now. Right from the start, I use her as my Physical DPS and she's part of my Archon Quest Team and I never fail to bring her in my Spiral Abyss. She is very much fun to play!
I cannot wait to get her for my Xiao team! It will definitely be how I'll use her most, but I've been very interested in the sunfire combo lately, it seems very fun to play! Thanks for the guide Sevy, always making those wonderful characters justice!
Been running overvape sunfire for a while now with my c2 jean. She's helped my undergeared team clear abyss 12 and defeat world bosses without too much fear of dying. Quite happy I raised her!
I use Amenoma Kageuchi and this sword is amazing on her. Love the double bonus of getting both attack base effect bonus and energy regen from the swords ability. The weapon also looks amazing on her and it's like it was designed specifically for her. It reminds me of the Cinnabar Spindle sword, that is a perfect fit for Albedo and it's like MiHoyo introduced these weapons to encourage more people to play the older 5* characters.

Noblesse set and Favonius Sword also works for Xiao teams if you want to consolidate the Anemo battery and Healer role to Jean - she's very flexible to build for different teams indeed
She was my favorite trial from the standard banner, but I don't have her yet. I've never seen a lawachurl get juggled around, now I fell in love even more ( 1:15 )
Very timely guide, I'm working on Jean now! I really like her huge instant team heal, and at C2 the speed buff is fun. I gave Ayaka the Amenoma (don't think I'll try for Mistsplitter), so Jean gets the Favonius. I wish I had more billets!

Very nice guide. Although, you forgot to mention Dragonspine sword for energy recharge weapons. Jeans “E” has good scaling and that weapon's passive allowes it to hit it even harder. It's a very good option for her, especially if you don't have refinements on your gacha 4* weapons.
Jean was my first 5* and since her kit was easy enough to understand, I just stacked her with attack stats so that she could be a decent healer for my team. However, I found that she automatically became the dps unit for my team because of this and she has been my main ever since, outperforming Diluc, Childe, and even Eula when it comes to consistent damage. Nowadays, I can't survive without her instant burst-heal and I enjoy being the designated healer whenever doing co op domains. Still waiting for Jean constellations!
Me a long time jean main: Oh look a Jean guide! Must watch now. My jean is c2, double crowned and she's a godsend with Eula. I have her with2 pz glad and 2 pz anemo and it's always fun to make her do 25k with her skill every 6s.
Excellent guide, as always. I got Jean on Christmas Eve 2020 as my first standard banner 5-star character, and she's been the core of the team I built around Childe, my first 5-star overall. I even sniped the Cutter for her from the first doughnut banner. I hope I never replace her and she gets to C6 some day.
I've been a Jean main since release! My abyss Jean team is Jean, Xiangling, Kazuha and Bennett. My overworld Jean team changes every other week, but at the moment it's Jean, Fischl, Beidou, Lisa

I played this game for over a year without Jean, and then recently pulled her 3 times in the last couple of months. Got that second constellation from the standard banner just after acquiring Ayato and they are basically inseparable. I guess that makes up for not pulling a single Yun Jin out of 160 wishes. Jean may be the most underrated character in this game. She's an OP utilitarian DPS, but it can be difficult to find a slot for her if you need another Anemo character for better/faster crowd control and swirling. As with any multi-tasker, she's not particularly the best at any one thing, but the fact that she can do SO MUCH and so well makes her very valuable. Great guide, as always.
Just lost my 50/50 for scaramouche, having Jean won't benefit my team comp in any way so I'm crying out on this guide for her If anything I'll use her on spiral abyss
This really helped me out!!! I use Jean in my overcharge team, with Kuki Shinobu, Beidou, Yanfei and her. Usually, (in spiral abyss) I apply beidou's continuous electro damage using her burst and kuki Shinobu's skill to further that electro application. I then use yanfei's skill and normal attack interchangeably to apply the overcharged damage. Then, I use Jean to swirl both pyro and electro for more damage. If two of the vital characters are dead (Beidou and Yanfei), I use Jean's normal attack until I get her burst, revive Yanfei (as Kuki Shinobu can apply the electro when Beidou is dead) and use Jean's burst to heal Yanfei. I've mainly levelled up Jean's skill, as it swirls the overcharge over and over, as well as doing phys damage in between the cool downs with her normal attack. I love Jean in my team. Once, when I was a lower level and I was fighting a boss (I think it was the pyro hypostatis), all of my other characters were dead and the cool down for revives was still there, I managed to solo the boss just using Jean.
Jean is my fave character! She's very flexible in the abyss too! I've triple crowned her so I needn't worry much on what type of build I change her into. She's my main dps in the overworld. Also, I tried pulling for the Jade Cutter but Ningguang enjoys her new weapon now.

I actually built my Jean for a Sunfire Ayato team. But then I built Xangling to fill the forth slot to free un Zhongli, so now it’s a Sunfire Ayato National team and I just think that’s neat lol
it took me waaayy too long but jean finally came home! Shes always been by far my favorite standard banner character and it took a c3 qiqi and a c2 mona before i finally got her LOL. Glad to finally be able to build her
Jean is my main healer and I love useing her as a sub-DPS if the team needs it. I always have her in my team, and she is the main Anemo character that I use. Fortunately, I am lucky enough to have her at C1, which gives me even more reason to use her. I also love using her to elemental skills to swirl the elements that Yae Miko and Yanfei, my main DPSes, put on the enemy. My favorite weapons to use with her are the Flute and the Iron Sting, as I don't have the Inuzuna sword yet.
I love how versatile Jean is. I'm also one of the group of people who got Jean as the first 5-Star Character that I've obtained. However, in my case as a returning player, she's the only 5-Star Character that I've got besides the Traveler. And yeah! My Jean currently wields the 2nd ascended Harbinger of Dawn.

I've had her for a while but never tried to use her. Other than Sucrose she's my only Anemo character so I was thinking about building her. I'm glad you made this guide because I didn't know were to start with Jean since she's pretty unique and I was confused about some of her skills. Thanks!
On my main account I'm using a hybrid ER/anemo/atk build with 4p vv and amenoma so she can be a more universal healer and battery, stacking a fair amount of atk since her heals scale with atk but still balancing so her skill and burst can do some damage. I mainly use her against corrosion, as a support for Xiao if Benny's in another team, or if I want to be a troll and do mono anemo. Now on my second account I'm working on a full EM build with iron sting rn because I want to play sunfire with Raiden.
When I got C2 on standard recently, I immediately leveled her up to be a support for my Ayato and darn good that team became. Jean Bennett Ayato Yun Jin. I really like throwing enemies off and even Co-ops with slower loading time haha, love seeing them fly away and teleport back in place. My other teams for her are Beidou, Bennett, Xingqiu Diluc, Bennett, Albedo Yun jin, Chongyun, and Ayato Sucrose, Sayu with pure Anemo Damage haha

I'm fairly new to the game and I loss all 50/50 attempts to Jean. 1 on Ganyu banner and 1 on Kokomi banner but that loss gave me Raiden and in the future Yelan. Currently built her as hybrid, made all my weekly boss run so much easier as she can solo majority of the bosses cause she doesn't die as long as you got her ult ready quickly

Very timely guide, I'm working on Jean now! I really like her huge instant team heal, and at C2 the speed buff is fun. I gave Ayaka the Amenoma (don't think I'll try for Mistsplitter), so Jean gets the Favonius. I wish I had more billets!

Very nice guide. Although, you forgot to mention Dragonspine sword for energy recharge weapons. Jeans “E” has good scaling and that weapon's passive allowes it to hit it even harder. It's a very good option for her, especially if you don't have refinements on your gacha 4* weapons.
Jean was my first 5* and since her kit was easy enough to understand, I just stacked her with attack stats so that she could be a decent healer for my team. However, I found that she automatically became the dps unit for my team because of this and she has been my main ever since, outperforming Diluc, Childe, and even Eula when it comes to consistent damage. Nowadays, I can't survive without her instant burst-heal and I enjoy being the designated healer whenever doing co op domains. Still waiting for Jean constellations!

I got Jean on Christmas Eve 2020 as my first standard banner 5-star character, and she's been the core of the team I built around Childe, my first 5-star overall. I even sniped the Cutter for her from the first doughnut banner. I hope I never replace her and she gets to C6 some day.

I played this game for over a year without Jean, and then recently pulled her 3 times in the last couple of months. Got that second constellation from the standard banner just after acquiring Ayato and they are basically inseparable. I guess that makes up for not pulling a single Yun Jin out of 160 wishes. Jean may be the most underrated character in this game. She's an OP utilitarian DPS, but it can be difficult to find a slot for her if you need another Anemo character for better/faster crowd control and swirling. As with any multi-tasker, she's not particularly the best at any one thing, but the fact that she can do SO MUCH and so well makes her very valuable. Great guide, as always.

Ur guide helped me so much, most other stuff was focusing just at how to build her as support only-
This really helped me out!!! I use Jean in my overcharge team, with Kuki Shinobu, Beidou, Yanfei and her. Usually, (in spiral abyss) I apply beidou's continuous electro damage using her burst and kuki Shinobu's skill to further that electro application. I then use yanfei's skill and normal attack interchangeably to apply the overcharged damage. Then, I use Jean to swirl both pyro and electro for more damage. If two of the vital characters are dead (Beidou and Yanfei), I use Jean's normal attack until I get her burst, revive Yanfei (as Kuki Shinobu can apply the electro when Beidou is dead) and use Jean's burst to heal Yanfei. I've mainly levelled up Jean's skill, as it swirls the overcharge over and over, as well as doing phys damage in between the cool downs with her normal attack.
I love Jean in my team.
Once, when I was a lower level and I was fighting a boss (I think it was the pyro hypostatis), all of my other characters were dead and the cool down for revives was still there, I managed to solo the boss just using Jean.

Jean is my fave character! She's very flexible in the abyss too! I've triple crowned her so I needn't worry much on what type of build I change her into. She's my main dps in the overworld. Also, I tried pulling for the Jade Cutter but Ningguang enjoys her new weapon now.

I actually built my Jean for a Sunfire Ayato team. But then I built Xangling to fill the forth slot to free un Zhongli, so now it’s a Sunfire Ayato National team and I just think that’s neat lol
it took me waaayy too long but jean finally came home! Shes always been by far my favorite standard banner character and it took a c3 qiqi and a c2 mona before i finally got her LOL. Glad to finally be able to build her
Jean is my main healer and I love useing her as a sub-DPS if the team needs it. I always have her in my team, and she is the main Anemo character that I use. Fortunately, I am lucky enough to have her at C1, which gives me even more reason to use her. I also love using her to elemental skills to swirl the elements that Yae Miko and Yanfei, my main DPSes, put on the enemy. My favorite weapons to use with her are the Flute and the Iron Sting, as I don't have the Inuzuna sword yet.
I love how versatile Jean is. I'm also one of the group of people who got Jean as the first 5-Star Character that I've obtained. However, in my case as a returning player, she's the only 5-Star Character that I've got besides the Traveler. And yeah! My Jean currently wields the 2nd ascended Harbinger of Dawn.

On my main account I'm using a hybrid ER/anemo/atk build with 4p vv and amenoma so she can be a more universal healer and battery, stacking a fair amount of atk since her heals scale with atk but still balancing so her skill and burst can do some damage. I mainly use her against corrosion, as a support for Xiao if Benny's in another team, or if I want to be a troll and do mono anemo. Now on my second account I'm working on a full EM build with iron sting rn because I want to play sunfire with Raiden.
She’s the only one who hasn’t come home from the standard banner. I love both her design and her kit. What a flexible character.
When I got C2 on standard recently, I immediately leveled her up to be a support for my Ayato and darn good that team became. Jean Bennett Ayato Yun Jin. I really like throwing enemies off and even Co-ops with slower loading time haha, love seeing them fly away and teleport back in place.

Diluc, Bennett, Albedo
Yun jin, Chongyun, and Ayato
Sucrose, Sayu with pure Anemo Damage haha

I'm fairly new to the game and I loss all 50/50 attempts to Jean. 1 on Ganyu banner and 1 on Kokomi banner but that loss gave me Raiden and in the future Yelan.
Currently built her as hybrid, made all my weekly boss run so much easier as she can solo majority of the bosses cause she doesn't die as long as you got her ult ready quickly
