As a Yanfei main - her best set is actually Marechussy if you play her with Furina. And she is very good with Furina (double hydro + benny if you want Yanfei to consistently vape) She's also pretty good overload driver if you have Chevreuse, I usually steal my EM pieces from Thomas if i'm playing that team.
I think achievement farming for namecards would be cool. You can do exploration while farming for those regional namecards. There’s loads of boss related ones too. You could make it harder by requiring you use the newly built character, too. So like Yanfei defeating all the local legend bosses. I’m trying to get the Second Folio Imaginarium theater namecard. It’s a cute cat!!! Sadly I doubt I’ll get it before Halloween. :( I don’t have Qiqi or Jean for the Envisaged Echoes achievements. I hope they add more characters to it!!! Especially Kaeya!
When I first had a Yanfei trial I was so sure she was 5 star and was so surprised when I found out she was 4 star but even with my old build, her damage is still immaculate. This might inspire me to go back and update her build to see what she whether she can do more dmg

I like Yanfei design, she is certainly cute and all but she is also an older 4-star Main DPS so she definitely seems underpowered compared to the newer DPS units and if you want her to perform well, you have to hyper invest into her. That said I do occasionally come across Yanfei mains who are hitting 100k+ damage, I played around a little bit with my lvl 60 Yanfei and managed to do a 50k nuke despite her having lvl 1 talents and artifacts that were ok but not exceptional so I certainly believe she is good with high investment but that kind of just applies to every character in the game (even Xinyan, believe it or not.).

i love her very much she and xinqui helped my through the earlier days of genshin when i knew nothing about artifacts bonus or talents, she is a great character, i always love a good yanfei video, its very nostalgic, plus she is bubbly and fun. my love for catalyst characters started from yanfei, she is the best

Yes, they did edit the 4pc after dendro released!! Most 4pc sets that revolved around elemental reactions got an update for dendro :D Also my Yanfei has 4pc wanderers (?) Bc the crimson witch domain hates me I know the pain
i might be late but, shimenawa actually kinda works with her since her burst is easy to fill up and shimenaww domain is way more resin efficient since you can get emblem which is a broken piece and a shime and just scambox the crimson artis
I mained Yanfei forca while around AR35-40, even though I had Klee, but don't think I've touched her much since apart from IT. She's still on 2pc Crimson/Wanderer's but she lost her R5 Solar Pearl to Wanderer (oddly enough) but does have an R2 so still deals decent damage. Took her to 90 a while back & talents are 10/7/8 plus the boost as she's C6 so doubt I'll put any more work into her at this stage.
My Yanfei is teamed up with Raiden, Mona and Rosario. They occasionally need food for healing.. If they get hit. Raiden skill, rose's burst, mona burst then yan burst. Any thing left... Raiden burst.
Xilonen can be a dps as long as you have at least 2 more geos in the team if you have 2 other elements she becomes a support. Though keep in mind her dmg is hard to get up. Me personally am gonna build her dps bc I like a challenge 😅
My Yan Fei hits like 30k max and she is my main DPS along with Furina (i mostly do vaporize and burgeon with Kiwawa) even akasha thinks my Yan Fei is top 17% in NA but yours is better 😭
The only Xinyan mains I've ever seen were OkCode and Gibbb so technically you're not the only one, you're just in the last 2 cuz I don't think OkCode plays gachas anymore.
If you "like putting yourself through difficult times for the sake of content", i cannot enough recommend the souls trilogy. Absolutely beautiful worldbuilding and great enemy design. Pity they ruined the rep with elden ring but it's still my fav series of all time to replay every damn month.
I'm still upset about the fact I used materials on Diona, and Yaoyao and I don't even use them, could've been used for someone else. Also why is Zhongli lvl 60?
The pop up that shows you how many of an item you have, will now show “go to collect” as a button which takes you to the map with views of the items locations (3 max per local specialty) Just note it’s only local specialty items!!
