Although during my time at Royal Mail, the LDV Sherpa had a tighter turning circle and was much appreciated. History shows that the Transit has always been supremely popular when it comes to most kinds of work. It was a sad day when the factory at Southampton closed down, and all production was transferred to Turkey.
The Granada LX from 1990 to 1992 used those same wheel trims. I've never heard of the Jubilee, it was very interesting to learn more about it. I think it looks nice in silver. It's just a bit of a shame that all these Transits rusted for fun.
These were so modern and a big leap forward from the previous Transit when they came out in 1986. The current Transit still looks similar nearly 40 years on.
I never knew about this special edition so thank you for sharing. It was interesting hearing about this special edition transit. I like how ford gave them special wheel trims on a van.
That's one damned good looking van. It still looks modern. I wonder if anyone bought one of these and kitted it out like the Aussie Transit Sundowner vans from 1979?

Your so welcome it certainly is an unusual one
I like how they call it a cigar lighter in a van. Were they trying to market it to the A Team?
Haha
Don't remember these either. It's very much if Lovejoy owned a van.

Thanx
It's a nice range of colours for this model. Tasman Blue was a really nice shade. But I'm sure most people chose white ones anyway.
Fun video 👍What's really scary is next year it's 60 years since the first Transit😮
Absolutely
1st
Shame they didn't add the turbo diesel.
