Brendan Duffy have you tried it though? My roomate and i started doing songs in 3 hours (not good enough to do it in just 1) and its really helped my songwriting as well as my daw/dawless efficiency.

This piece is actually very good and naturally introduces a very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere (inner feeling as a reaction to the music, not the music's atmosphere). I can appreciate this much. :)

This song is extremely beautiful and is exactly the type of songs I want to compose. I'm an undergrad at UC Davis studying Music Composition and they tend to leave out the beauty of "popular music" or non art music but there's definitely something worthwhile here. You should make a video where you have 1 hour to write a song, but the first 50 mins are just planning with only pen and paper and only the last 10 mins is recording and mixing time. I'd be very interested to see how that turns out.
