I made this jig a few weeks ago. It is an important safety device that I use frequently. I made the part that holds down the workpiece out of 1/8" plywood (3.175 mm). I highly recommend this device.

Hello, I like your clamps and the other things you show before. But here I'm not sure. For small strips it will definitly work. But if you search you will find videos that explain if you push or close to the fence on wider boards, this boards tend to rotate and end in an kick back (without the cutting knife). That sound realistic for me. So it should every one clear when to use. If it is save or not. Anyway, keep going on. Again I like your videos.

You need to check your router bit...something is not right with the wobble of that bit....great video as always...love your channel and am always inspired by your content...
I thought the same thing. Could that have been heat distortion? But I've never seen that before, and I've been watching zillions of woodworking vids since covid.
@@tree_carcass_mangler I don’t think heat has anything to do with the wobble...a bent shaft...maybe...I first thought that the bearing was loose or oversized...if the base was loose the bit would move horizontally and flat...I don’t know...🤔🤔🤔
@@tree_carcass_mangler I re-watched again...it looks and acts like the bit is loose...but...there seems to be no loss of rpm...and in most cases the bi5t will actually shoot upwards...out of the chuck collet...the only other possible reason is the collet is ever so slightly over-sized(metric) or the router bit shank is undersized(metric)... causing a off-center wobble...🤔🤔🤔

You need to check your router bit...something is not right with the wobble of that bit....great video as always...love your channel and am always inspired by your content...
I thought the same thing. Could that have been heat distortion? But I've never seen that before, and I've been watching zillions of woodworking vids since covid.

I don’t think heat has anything to do with the wobble...a bent shaft...maybe...I first thought that the bearing was loose or oversized...if the base was loose the bit would move horizontally and flat...I don’t know...🤔🤔🤔

I re-watched again...it looks and acts like the bit is loose...but...there seems to be no loss of rpm...and in most cases the bi5t will actually shoot upwards...out of the chuck collet...the only other possible reason is the collet is ever so slightly over-sized(metric) or the router bit shank is undersized(metric)... causing a off-center wobble...🤔🤔🤔

Voilà une excellente idée qui m'aurait été utile il y a deux mois en arrière, je ne me serais pas couper avec la scie.
Mais bon tout va bien, un peu de rééducation pour plier le pouce et l'index et il n'y paraîtra rien.
Je vais faire cette sécurité au plus vite et elle me sera bien utile.

Est ce que je peux vous demander quelle type de foret vous utilise pour vos diffèrent travaux. il ne ressemble pas a ce qu' ont voient habituellement et il me semble faire du bon travail.
