I remember a trick lakey taught in one of his now deleted videos/vlogs. This was when I still used logix, now I use fl so i'll try to remember as good as I can: Say you have an audio file (works with midis as well). Cut the audio somewhere. Select the fade tool and click-drag from left to right over the cut you just made. Then right click on the automation that appears on the file. Then select Slow down and Crossfade. This creates a nice effect that I thought was nice. I might have a project where I used this so i'll factcheck this comment once I find it. I enjoyed Lakey Inspired's videos. They were hella amusing. I'm really wondering why he deleted his videos. EDIT: Fixed the explanation
@@Lazy_Aviator I mean an audio file that you place into your daw. Then you can cut it at multiple places (he had a nice shortcut to cut the audio evenly at multiple places but I forgot the logic shortcut. And then you put a crossfade over each cut. I think this video describes how he did it: ruclips.net/video/KZ1-IztBI-M/видео.html&ab_channel=TheWaveShop.
Man I'm watching your videos and trying to make these beats but I'm almost giving up because I can't do anything I don't know if it's my keyboard or the app I use
So I’d love to give this a try. I have no background in music nor any experience with instruments. Off to a great start. Anyways, do you use Logic Pro X for your DAW? Also, which midi keyboard do you use, is it the MPK Mini mkII 25-key? Thank you.
Your content is really good! I’m really inspired and am trying to infuse these techniques into my music. Is there any chance you’re able to share how you create transitions or where we can find them? Thanks and keep it up! ;)
Thank you! I've collected most of my sounds from random drum kits over the years, but you can find lots of transition effects for free online. Here's a pack that could be of use: drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/0BywqSRW-KtPkU3RUVXJuZXFnVzg.

Hey, I'm not expecting a reply but I am trying to recreate this
When you say an audio file do you mean in your computers files or in logic?

The midi controller is the AKAI Mpk Mini. For vsts I use alchemy, retro synth and keyzone classic.
What laptop do you use for editing the music?

a ufo361 dark trap beat tutorial would be super dope 🙏🏾 something like VERÄNDERT.
Has anyone bought Lakey's lightning drum kit?
Do you have this beat saved somewhere or is uploaded somewhere I can listen to it?
I have it saved, I haven't uploaded it though.
The Creatives Please upload ASAP please
