You know what I think is cool about this? This makeup look is very bridal, and you showed people a lot of alternatives that are way more accessible. And then we could choose which single article we're willing to splurge on, if any at all. I think it's really cool that makeup doesn't have to burn a whole in our pockets in order for it to be good quality.
Exactly I’m definitely getting the Jason Wu Skin Tint and the Sephora Powder I was literally just looking online for the Powder No Powder to buy tomorrow with the Boxing Day sales and the CT Foundation was in my cart, now I feel confident buying the lower cost alternatives and being Canadian it’s a much lower price tag is saw the prices for both products in USD is 40 for Dior and out cost is 50.00 on sale and Jason Wu is 20.00 and on sale here for 27.99 . Beauty products no matter face, hair or nails is so so expensive here it wouldn’t be so bad if it was just the difference in the dollar but it’s not it’s an additional 30%+ sometimes it’s straight up double the cost , I could totally relate to Angi when she said drugstore makeup in Sweden was just as expensive as Brands at Sephora because it’s the same here with Brands like NYX and Milano those two Brands are very expensive a NYX eyeshadow palette is 56.00 bucks like what the heck how is that drugstore! . So thank you Angi for this video I’m sure it’s going to help many ppl.
I would love to see a video with dupes for products that have been discontinued (or are difficult to get...like Colourpop's Prance)! After you rest and have a relaxing holiday, of course! You deserve a break!

As a makeup artist, I can tell the difference. It's slight. But the high end side looks more saturated. Skin looks more lush on the high end side too. At least on camera. Can't speak to in person.

Merry Christmas. What you said at the end is how I feel. I don’t need a 100% perfect spot on dupe. I work in a medical group at a military base and nobody is going to “come for me” for wearing dupes/ similar things in my clothes, makeup and fragrance.
For me the only items that worth paying for high end are eyeshadows (stay good for more time, blend easier and I can lay some layers) and foundation (doesn't fate or get patch during the day so fast as drugstore ones). Everything else I found drugstore brands that are so good as my favorites high ends

I think the Charlotte tilbury highlighter, on camera at least because I haven't tried either, looks like it melts into the skin better and has less texture. That was the thing that gave it away for me to be able to tell which side was which! Both sides are still beautiful though I'm at the end of the video, and you just said the same exact thing🤣🤣🤣

YAY! I totally guessed correctly! I could tell which was the higher end side by looking closely at the eyeshadow! The high end eyeshadow just looked smoother & looked like it was blended better. Also, your cheeks just seem more blurred & perfected. Blurry but skin like. It’s very difficult to achieve a base like that with drugstore products. My opinion, of course. ❤M

The Color pop colors are coming across on the grey purple side whereas the Denona colors are more true to what is in the pan. I'd have to see it in natural daylight to be sure. However, everything looks so good on you that you can get away with anything.

I LOVE grays so I liked the drugstore side more for that and I also like a more natural highlight so another reason I liked the drugstore side. I think I prefer the greyer undertone of the Quartz palette-and I own both of these. The ND is my at home neutral palette and the Quartz and That’s Taupe palette travel with me.

My Kosas bronzer smelt like old butter and it was brand new bought from the store! Now it makes sense why they sell out alot, because the factory has probably been making the stock in consistent batches to avoid it going off by the time it hits the shelves
I think I only clocked the high end side based on the highlight and the outer corner of the eyeshadow (to me, through my computer screen, the high end outer corner looked a bit more pigmented), but overall, it's really hard to tell!
I think that you did a great job. Both sides look so similar! I don't have the Natasha Denona Glam pallet because their customer service was really bad in my opinion. But I do the the ColourPop! And I love ColourPop and cool tones!! Thank you for the video.
Sephora Microsmooth was supposed to be a dupe for MAC MSFN. It's closer to that than to Dior IMO. Also think CP That's Taupe is a better dupe for Glam than Of Quartz is. I have all these products minus the foundation dupe and would have said the Flower highlight was the most similar dupe of them all! Fun video!
I wish more dupe videos would call out eyeshadows don't need to swatch the same to look the same on the eye. While you were putting on the two palettes, I could clearly see the colours weren't exact. BUT when you added mascara, eyeliner, falsies, and pulled the camera back to where another human being would be in real life, I couldn't tell at all! Also would love a 6 hour check in to see how everything wore in, because sometimes drugstore doesn't have the same longevity on me because I have oily skin.

I couldn't find a kosas light enough with the correct undertone. I love the nyx one though 😍 I mix the kosas with really light ones.

I swear nyx lip products lately are something else, I want them all and I want them now! 😂
I hate that I could guess the high end. That side has more punch to it (slightly) .But not enough to warrant spending that much money. This was informative,thank you . BTW the hair looks amazing!
