As always this was such a pleasure to be able to call 21 hours of these guys splashing around in two of the most entertaining episodes of Hustler Casino Live ever.
Dude the way he so confidently told JR the last hand was a chop was so boss. He appeared as a loosey goosey player but he’s actually the rabbit with the gun.
@@jayhayes5924 except that i’m pretty sure that keating is down in HCL lifetime (if i’m wrong, correct me) and that dwan (young version or today) would obviously demolish this game.
when I first started following poker, I thought Keating was just a crazy loose player. However I now see what his game is (I think). He knows that he has a substantial skill edge, and they're usually playing hella deep. So, it makes sense to get in and mix it up with a lot of nonsense, and then hand read and know when you can run a good bluff, or when you hit a strong hand that your opponent won't expect. He's actually pretty disciplined about getting away from crummy hands after the flop.
So many people call him a donkey but he is just on a much higher level. He knows he's playing way too wide but he's still able to stack a table of pros on any given night.
Bart is the best poker commentator out there. Alan Keating if not the best cash game player. He is the most enjoyable to watch. He is a gentleman, never complains. Never blames. Talks but don’t talk too much. This is the type of player I love to watch.
keating reminds me of brazilian ronaldo (football player) when he was young ... upcoming, talented as f..., humble, not a cryboy when get fouled stands up continues playing never complaining ...
keating is a boss man. one of the best to watch - would of love to see him back in the day with the old timers sammy, barry, doyle, ivey, phil, d negs, etc.
Just excellent hand reading from Keating - goes to show you the power of understanding your opponent and their strategy, and what hands make sense for them.
@@chriskoshinski yeah he had a lot of favorable cards, but that had nothing to do with my point. He knew where he was in these hands, it was very skillful poker play.
@@newstandardaccount shot in the dark, daniel negreanu is famous for his "psychic" reads, but what you don't see the 9 out of 10 times he gets it wrong since only the times he gets it right go viral
Was so not a fan of Keating when I first saw him a play a year or so ago but my god has he grown on me, what a funny friendly endearing exciting happy go lucky poker player who is the first to stack someone when they go broke 👏
The AJ shove made no sense and the speed of it also. Keating coupd of found a call. That player tanks on all of his value bet decisions annoyingly. He guessed AJ also. Should of called if he took the time to think it through.
One of the parts Hustler streams have going for it is the sounds of the card room. I know the other streams are going to private rooms, but keeping the background adds the needed live feel.
Why were they sitting then? I've never seen them play the stand up at Hustler lmao. You just making stuff up? Never seen anybody sit during a hand if you're supposed to be still standing in the stand up game. Hense the name, STAND UP GAME.
@@speakinfaxonly21 because production don't like them standing because then they do'nt have good angles for good footages. So they keep track who is 'sittig'/won a hand by giving them a timechip. But hey don't have to trust me you could just see the stream and see for yourself.
I always find it funny the number of insanely rare hand that you get on some of these streamed games. AK vs AQ vs KQ, and then 3 people all with the same flush draw. Just stuff you don’t ever see in live games granted you can’t always see the cards but it’s just seems crazy. How many of these pots that in order to get this large a.k.a. this interest have to have several people with a very similar hand all going for it.
Keating has some amazing plays, but what was up with Hanks? He was definitely ready to go home. Hanks, any time you want to hand someone $100k, I'm hear for you. 🤣
The orange hoodie dude was visibly hesitating before his bluff on the river, you'd think people should have their tells better under control at this level
It's the first board that counts for the pot disk. The pot disk is a visual aid used on poker tables to indicate which player is currently winning the pot based on the action taken in that hand. The pot disk is usually circular and made of plastic so that it can easily spin or slide across the table. It helps all players follow the changing dynamics of the pot as betting unfolds.
Hanks jamming with Kh5h was an absurd move. Can someone please explain the logic? There isn't a good explanation, but feel free to try and explain this move to me.

So much fun! Great commentary as always Bart!

From what I see.. he's like a prime tom dwan.. Don't try to bluff him.. well.. would be nice to see prime bluff lord vs Keating the calling machine.
Brilliant analogy. That's exactly what he is.

His postflop game is unmatched. If he played a normal preflop range, he would be one of the best poker players in the world.
@@tylerslenk8243 his wider range is what allows him to play so well. He connects with more boards post flop and has more high ev spots to pick from
I was a non believer of Keating for a while. I am on the Keating train! Amazing high level poker.
I agree. I also think Eric Persons is a great one to watch although he's a bit arrogant for me. I still like to watch him play.

Keating somehow knowing his deuce is good 3 ways and then saying "I don't want to slowroll anyone" 😂😂 absolute legend
He said slowplay. He's such a donk he doesn't know the difference.
That was the funniest ballsiest thing ever. Keating has to be some kind of psychopath, he was built for poker. Better than being a serial killer
“Got A-J over there” keating is an exceptional player
Bart is the best poker color analyst around.
I agree ☝️
That last hand raising with A3 on the river was beautiful. Pushing off the chop to steal the whole thing, absolutely brilliant play.
Keating is so relaxed. Feels like he's play $1-$2 blinds
Keating very casual calling Aaron's hand there with AJ. Class guy it is.
That last hand was something else. He knew exactly where he was at and JR didn’t.
Love Keating. An absolute gentleman and stone cold killer. Great entertainment.

True story. I was playing a tournament, and 3 people flopped a flush. They were all sitting next to each other. Crazy 🤪
Feels like everything goes out the window when your playing against someone who is playing 82 off.
27 minutes of me realizing he's better than i give him credit for
The last hand -
Keating saying it's a chop as he's stacking the entire pot. Incredible.
Loved the J5 hand. And as always Bart commentary is so money.
Shoutout to Mars for the “we like to gamble 😝” and going 1 time. Seems like every huge pot is twice now.
