I think people really need to take advantage of formations more often, especially for huge groups of archers like this. Those 30 losses could have been 10 if they were better distributed
The small walls Team Valas added when pushing or defending to protect their ranged units (mostly for the longbowmen) was absolutly genius and really helped in the defense against the slow moving elefants, just because they either had to walk around them or break them down. Thereby giving the ranged units some free shots.
Wow, very interesting, that small distance on both sides of the map between the map's edge and the markets meant they got so much less gold/trip it made them overboom, and lose.
The K/D for Rgeadn is more impressive IMO since the 900 kills are half elephants and the kills for Daut are half halbs. Also, blue team was able to. realize an economy of massed forces. By having enough archers they were able to replace less and thus need less eco while still maintaining a healthy float. Market distance was also definitely a big deal.
The thing that gets me the most is how there are 1000+ eco units on the field, full fighting engagement, and single digit idles. That's why they're the pros and I'm struggling to get my ELO to four digits.
Would love to watch T90's live streams sometimes but maaaaaaan how BAD and buggy Facebook video player is! Especially if you are watching a live stream and rewind a bit (say, you want to watch from the beginning which you missed) - it will so often stutter and freeze, grinding to a halt so only refreshing the page can help (which I sometimes have to do for a dozen of times during a single stream). I don't want to be biased and stuff (and I wasn't a fan of Twitch either but that didn't freeze at least) - but that's just killing it for me. Why can nobody have a decent videoplayer like RUclips, you wouldn't think that's rocket science in 2023 🤔🤔🤔
Daut has Mongols. Mongols have the fastest siege rams in the game and siege rams destroy Britons so where were Dauts' siege rams. Onagers are nice but they can be sniped by longbows rams can't you have to use another unit. Ongers can be converted from distance and rams can't. Rams are a great meat shield for the mandugai and the elephants. So many of these rage forest games have been so disappointing to watch so many bad plays, why they did not watch how this game is supposed to be played has made watching this tourney unbearable. Barles team is really good and play the game right.
I hate how people focus way to heavy on the catapults instead of ballista. Sure using one can be ok catapult basically becomes worthless in imp and against large numbers its absolute shit because it takes too long to fire and can not attack properly and is absolute shit. ballista fires like machine gun especially when you have larger numbers and is a far better unit. Hell in numbers of 5 against 5 ballista wins because it fires faster and in larger numbers it just keeps getting better and better to a point of scaling where its far better than nearly anything else and if you have 4 people using only them meaning 400 plus then its something that cant be beat and focusing on 1 unit that every civilization gets is actually how you in reality really win because that is massive hordes of the same unit that dose not require micro at all. Not only does it do more damage and is fast and is cheaper and can stack and can damage far more units but also it does not require massive micro making it the single most un used unit of the game. Sure 1 against 1 the catapult wins because of its 1 single mass attack but that is because the ballista was only able to hit it 4 times compared to its 1 attack. Yes I call it is catapult because that is its actual name. Every single empire that actually used it called it a catapult. The British changed its name around World War 2 because they mis translated the word Catapult to mangonel and onager. The words mangonel and onager literally translate to catapult even though the word mangonel was a Mongolian word that did not even exist until World War 2 and the word Onager did not even exist until 1970s. They use to use the words that mean rock and toss which later in the 20th century were the words created to mean catapult. So yea I am not a dumbass who uses fake words. Hell even in the original Age of Empires 2 they were called Catapults but Age Of Empires died off as a game until Europe restarted its popularity along with China and other Asian countries forcing its people to play the game to win E Game tournaments to grant their governments money and is a way of government money laundering.
1. The unit is called a siege onager, even if the name is historically inaccurate. 2. Scorpions stack, meaning two onager shots could easily wipe out 20 scorpions. 3. First time I've heard AoE2 called a money laundering scheme. Lol.
The ground seems to be really frozen! Mangudai sliding backwards at 14:05 !
24:24 that suicide mission from the Onager killed 30 Longbows.
Impressive catch!
Just as impressive as those longbowmen catching that Onager shot.

T90 starting the cast with a little gaslighting, well played.
34:59 Did t90 just meow

42:00 the reason planner has highest gold is bc of keshiks

I'm pretty sure Green made a lot more keshiks than Blue made halbs in Valas's team
I was surprised by that stat as well... Felt like I made a thousand of em 11
Longbows is love, longbows is life.

It would be really fun to see a top 100 player in a community game. Oh how the diplo would change.

Longbows so op on BF. I’m an exclusive BF player and I groan when I see the enemy as Brit’s.

You uhhh put the wrong colours for the teams
team daut had a bad map gen... 60% map is for valas and only 40% for daut in this game

They probably make more money if you constantly have to refresh and watch an ad.
*T90!!!*
I’m a simple man. I see longbow. I watch.
Is AR12 the same one who has a RUclips channel of mostly racing vids?
