Another great tune very well played, Andrew. Does that 10 string have a carved top (it looks like it does)? Is the back carved or flat? What are the top, back & sides made of? (Sounds lovely, by the way).
Thanks John! Yes it has a carved top, for the back I'm not sure, but the back is ever so slightly convex. I believe that it's a spruce top and rosewood back and sides. I also believe that it was the first 10 string that Paul Shippey made, he originally built it for Ewan McPherson - a wonderful player - who I bought it off a few years ago.

...also it's got a longer than average scale length, longer than a gibson A, to get the low C course useable - but I tune that up to D
