The only thing I'd say to do with your cuts where your intercooler piping is running threw is run some door trim or something around it so the intercooler piping doesn't rub threw man rubbing over time would just ve a pain but love what you have done what's the air flow like are you running a winch in your bar and what kind of bar If you are mate iv been really thinking about a front mount but have no clue how do it with out restricting the air flow to much with winch and spot lights
Not at all because its gone back to old school diesel tec the injector pump meters the fuel mechanically and as more fuel the engine draws more air as required
@@TRAV30387 awesome how good! By deleting the egr was it just as simple as blocking that as you mentioned in the video or did you also block off the egr at the back of the engine?
@@TRAV30387 ah okay. What are you blocking off with the throttle body valve? I'm a bit confused. I want to get a intercooler on my surf but I have that valve as well and not sure what it does
@@samoneill6175 ahh ok well if your staying electronic throttle body you can still run a cooler just need a adapter to suit that intake i deleted that because i went mechanical pump
I was able to get the cooler higher But my grill is different KZN165r SR5 Also I but the AC line behind the bonnet latch strap. my cooler is 570mm 300mm 75mm with 3” outlets ar at the bottom and it goes all the way under the Toyota emblem on the grill, but as I said different headlights and grill!!

Hey mate i used a n60 throttle cable and used the old cable holders from the crossover pipe modded it and welded tho the mechanical linkage

Just straight thru like old school diesels no need for a butterfly because as you ad fuel the engine naturally revs and draws more air

Tried the pinch weld doesn't fit need bigger holes theres no rubbing.. no winch man not interested tbh tjm
Are you or have you done any fuel pump mods for more boost yet? I heard the standard setup can handle 18psi no probs...
