You should have interviewed me. I have a small pp. Would have been good content.
glad to see you working Andrew my name is Andres I'm from Mexico where you also inspired a lot of people. "insecurity" is funny you bring it up cause its something that people like you helped to overcome through your social experiments. Godbless brother!
we love you andrew, i struggle with mental health issues and binge watching your videos help a lot, please don’t quit;)
"why are you so quiet?" Is my least favorite thing to hear from people too.
those sort of comments made school hell for me
@@abraham7140 More like family gatherings for me
Dudes be like “why are you so quiet.” Sorry I’m not a douchbag that’s like you that needs to project everything in mind to everyone around me. Take a hint and piss off.
Johnny Depp was once told "you are shy arent you"
"It's the quiet one's you have to watch out for!" I've always hated that joke
Andrew is so great at interviewing people in a non-judgement/kind/respectful way
Agree
If he's so great why don't you marry him?
damn, bob made it all this time without learning what insecurity means. respect.
I instantly flipped my phone over and went to the comments after his shit😂
lmao
@@flaccsquid Same.
In a way he is not wrong either, he just hasn't applied the concept to himself
yeah i dunno either, its a shaming tactic lol
I honesty love how reasonable and down to earth the people are that Andrew interviews. These videos give me hope for humanity.
You are such a hypocrit
We're all down to Earth due to all this gravity tho.
I feel like most people are like that, clickbait media just makes us think otherwise.
Saves your hopes and dreams
its a shaming tactic when you close their side
Daddy gettin' those Joe Rogan podcast type sponsors, good job 👍
Andrew, I literally watched this video just to see if anybody said anything about being introverted or quiet since that’s 100% my biggest insecurity and something I think not a lot of people think of. Your answer at the end was very relatable and thank you for these types of videos
sup boss, Let me know what you think of this, but I'm an extremely extraverted person. House parties from highschool to this day (I'm 28). I have introverted friends that play games during my parties, usually, I put their gameplay on the TV and just DJ music over it. There is literally no judgement from me for not wanting to play card games with me and the drunks. Is that what's scary? judgement from the social people? or is it just a self feeling of inadequacy?
@@GarrettBlackmon At least for me, I feel like a lot of introverts probably feel "different" from other people in lots of scenarios because we just don't have the mental capacity to meet new people and talk a lot. For example, I personally have been going to lots of parties recently and I talk and mingle and dance and do all those things, but I've found that the very extroverted people seem to be able to do this for such a longer time than I can, and it inevitably leads me to peacing out before most, or in scenarios where I spend the night, I'm just kinda on autopilot for the rest of the night while everyone else recaps the party. So while the judgment from social people is a fear at times, I've been beginning to learn that like you say, usually nobody is really judging you for not being incredibly outgoing. But for introverts you can't help but compare yourselves to others and notice how much more energy they have when it comes to those kind of events/situations
I always thought your “insecurity” sort of made your content enjoyable since it was the real you. Always respected that.
all the great youtubers are

Don’t blame your distractions , Improve your focus 💯
Yo. I’ve been following you since I don’t know, I was in my early 20s? I’m 35…your new stuff is so fucking awesome. I love the evolution and the sincerity of the recent interviews. Much love 🙌
I relate sooo much with what Andrew said at the end. I have a core memory when I was like 4 years old, of my neighbor saying “aw he’s so shy". I’ve always tried to push myself out of this comfort zone my whole life such as joining musical theatre and stuff like that, and it actually helps! But sometimes like last night In a public setting around new people especially I feel just locked in a cage, feeling like my body won’t allow me to look at certain people for too long or shit like that. Just extreme self governing. And lately my brain has been making people “the enemy” rather than realizing it’s all love.
damn i 100% relate
Yo Andrew, you're killin it at interviews, keep it up. Love how you're so honest about your depression, introversion, drinking and what not. All I gotta say is, stay positive, and if you're ever feeling low, remind yourself that which you're grateful for, cause it's all perspective. peace and love brotha
Love these. Such a good and natural interviewer. Also, notice how some people's insecurities are something no one else would notice? Like the guy thinking he's too thin, or how he didn't like his beard.
Another quality video my guy! Love how short and sweet and to the point these videos are. Top tier format.
literally the best advertiser, i rarely stick to a youtube promotion.
This was great, Andrew. There's something about your energy that really allows people to speak freely.
Thank you for this. Keep up the great work!

Glad you are feeling better with this "people on" videos. I've always liked your videos from the funny ones, to chatting with, and these as well. Love you brother!
Andrew, I've been a loyal fan of yours since way back. Thanks for the video. I was recently going through an episode of allowing my insecurity to weigh me down, and hearing other people speak of their insecurity makes me feel better about mine. It's so weird. Anyway, thanks for the video, glad to see you back making videos again.
Keep up the amazing content Andrew! The people you meet and their answers are very relatable!
Merry Christmas Andrew, thanks for being you! Blessings to you and yours
Your videos provide tremendous value, Andrew. I’m sure you can see that by just browsing the comments. I can relate to a lot of things you just said!
I love you and this channel so much because a LOT of people go through what you’re talking about.
I just love how generous and open you are man, keep it up!
Insecurity and introversion leading to drinking and drugs - relatable. Seems like such an easy fix but man it can go wrong. I’d rather just be alone than deal with all that again to try and cope. Wish you the best man.
andrew i love you stay healthy man love to see you healthy and btw interactions doesnt seem awkward anymore love to see it
Glad to see you upload again. Much love Andrew.
Glad you are coming back bro! Just keep up the quality consistent uploads ❤
all the interviewees were so chill and interesting. I could have watched a full chatting with featuring any of them
it's crazy to hear that you're an introvert yet made all those prank/pick up videos. Much respect. Been following you since your early days. Love the new content bro.
Disassociating probably helped
I wouldnt say its because of disassociation, I think the more you put yourselves in these types of situations the smoother you become. Just like training a muscle.
@@tariq4757 i think he's being modest... in no way is he an introvert. maybe he used to be, but he isnt anymore. not even close. an introvert would have a hard to going up to someone at the mall asking what time it is
He's still alive! Very neat video as per usual. Happy holidays, man.
I never comment on youtube videos, but I've got to say, I have been watching your videos since the pranking days and I really like the new format. The interviews that you are putting out as of lately are just really interesting to listen to!
your videos are so good as your personality, keep the grind going andrew !
strangers with this kind of honesty give me a big rubbery one..
Good stuff as always.
The "People on" series is a W. Keep'em coming.
Here's one for the Suggestions box: Since you're usually picking up these nice picturesque backgrounds to do the interview, I think it would be really cool/artsy if U literally turn the camera on yourself towards the end of the video in the same location, sit down and give us the same genuine input as the the people U interviewed.
Maybe it's just me but these close ups like the one U did towards the end makes me feel a bit of claustrophobic. I like the open/picturesque spaces.
There's this RUclipsr/Streamer called Asmongold who produces social/game commentary and his best videos are the one where he uses his "picturesque" garden as a background.
Thanks for sharing Andrew
Happy Holidays Andrew!
Makes me happy when i see your channel doing well, keep it up.
hahahaha I love the end part where you just go "Ah december......" then you sing a bit and and answer the question. Long time sub -- you da best!
Relatable. Love you man
I love your personality so much man! Hope you are doing good! Your little laughing-moments are so funny :D
Happy New yr Andrew. W Vids as always ❤
This man is so genuine it's absolutely absurd
Seeing you be you in the end helped me a lot, not just for me, but definitely respect you more as a human being. You got dis.
Also yeah, being an introvert is really effing hard.
Love the t-shirts I got. Happy christmas and a happy new year!
11:38 dude I relate so hard..being a hardcore introvert and being told countless times that I'm too quiet, or being asked why I'm so quiet.
liked your video in the first 3 seconds as i always do and then forgot and unliked it at the end thinking wow great video let me like it. Love these never stop uploading as long as you enjoy it
Good video man! Respect.
Man ! Same. that song has somehow made the past few December's a little less miserable for me , a magical mystery for now. Glad my brain puts it on repeat automatically all month long.
w/ my Winter - Bummers, low-vibe, drug binges, hood-up constantly, early 30's setting in, videogames don't help like they used to, and wondering if my next STL Winter will be any different than the last. but hooray being able to relate with someone a bit🤙
I got the 'why are you quiet?' question last week at a company lunch. I pretty much work from home full time and I guess that's convenient for an introvert but it makes it even harder to be social when I have to be.
These are the most 'human' interviews/videos on YT at the moment. Thanks, I'm needing this grounding.
I hope you're in good spirits Andrew. I used to watch your videos all the time as a kid. Just got back to watching RUclips and it's great to see you're still at it!
Everyone is amazing stay strong happy holidays
Sorry that question drove you to so many things that are probably exhausting for yourself. You be you man, it's good to be quiet. And you do have an interesting perspective on the funny things people do and say like your jokes you would make just hanging out with Cherdleys on your other channel. I really enjoy these videos of "people on". You should do one on religion. Just sayin. Love ya Andrew! You have been a blessing to me in some pretty dark moments of my life, so I am thankful for you! Thanks dude! Merry Christmas!
Hey Andrew if you ever read this, what made you ask Amelia "What would you change about yourself?" instead of her biggest insecurity?
Also, I don't know/remember your exact history with mental health, besides depression, but did you ever get diagnosed or tested for AD(H)D? Together with being highly intelligent and creative, it could explain your troubles with dealing with negative emotions. I see a lot of similarities with myself and I've only recently been diagnosed, only because I'm a psychologist myself and have always been thinking about myself and "what's wrong".
For you and anyone interested in the combination of AD(H)D and emotions, I can highly recommend the book "Smart but Stuck".
Much love Andrew.
Great series
take it easy brother, great video
We are who we are, enjoy your life now, in this moment, and live without expectation., All we can do is strive to be the better version of ourselves.
Hands down most important channel on youtube
Normally I skip the advert in the videos but not with him. Thanks Andrew for making videos again.
Merry Christmas and Happy Newyear!!
Good topic, you can always learn to be "more social" with courses and so on and then perhaps notice what you feel when being social.. Try it and see for yourself, what suits you.
Cheers from Belgium!
Love this. Do one talking about inflation. Asking if and how much it has affected people.
THE KING IS BACK ! OTAY OTAY
This is a great video/topic
You’re not alone Andrew 🤘
If you want to know someone's insecurity, a good starting point is to look at what they have excelled in. Fear is a powerful force. BTW, I've missed seeing your work. It looks like you are exploring a new approach to connecting - seems a bit deeper and more mature.
Love you bro, and your videos 👍I relate about the end and I think there are many others who do to.
these are so fucking good i immediately watch whenever a new upload comes up
Love what you do man, what about doing more podcasts? Just a thought. Also I can relate on being introverted 😅🤣
This is easily one of the best and funniest advertisements i've ever seen in my entire life
i loved this video a lot, you remind me a lot of myself
Best RUclipsr ever 👏
great video man
Watching this video made me happier

Merry Christmas bud.
I'd love to meet you one day. You seem really nice and chill, would love to be friends with you if I had the opportunity. Stay strong Andrew, keep your head up. I know you have been lost for a while, just keep your head up. Do the hard work especially when you don't feel like doing it.
After watching these energetically-unique interactions and I'm not feeling anxious or judgemental afterwards, had to look up your Birthchart mannn.
Its your Grounding Taurus -Earthy kindness vibe that people love . Keeps my Pisces/Sagittarius energy in check so heck yeah man thanks 🤙.☯️♉♈♉♈♓

*Pisces Mars
Born with Mars in the romantic mutable water sign Pisces, you tend to sit back and see what direction life flows in, preferring to sit in the moment and dream about your goals. Your energy is extremely empathic, intuitive, and maybe even a bit psychic, and you could channel your gifts as a healer into your work. Anger can be painful for you to work through, because you realize just how rooted it is in your emotional wounds. But dealing with your anger is essential to preempting it from getting internalized and morphing into sadness or depression.
damn. same. stay with it bro
Good stuff bro! Been watching you when you were still in CA, now you in Nashville, and I live in Nashville lol!!! Maybe I'll get interviewed by you one day, but I am an introvert like you, so I mostly stay in the house, no shame about it, the myth of having to be social is an American thing, other countries don't have that culture, we no need to prove nothin to them mofos.
Great video😊
I just feel like commenting this but my biggest insecurity is my sex addiction that has been a direct result of the things that I have consumed throughout my life. (Porn, multiple sexual partners, etc) I hypersexualize everything, both with men and women, (mostly women) but it has lead to such a heavy stressor in my everyday life (workplace, going for a walk in a public area, etc.) I just feel so exposed everywhere I go because of where my mind takes me. I feel like such a menace to society, but I take full responsibility for it though, and have started to go to meetings, listen to podcasts, talk about it with my therapist. I don't know who else goes through this same one but shit do indeed be difficult.
I go through the exact opposite, I have many opportunities and I just can't get myself to be excited about any of it because of porn etc, I feel so weird and abnormal bc my life doesn't revolve around sex like everyone else
@@Str8UpFax I feel like porn creates a certain type of subconscious apathy that can manifest itself in so many ways. I can imagine that sucks to have a lack of excitement/stimulation. Happy healing
Crazy coincidence that you posted this right after Ed Bassmaster posted a prank video called Insecurity Guards 🤣
Glad to see you still uploading
I was the same way. Insecure about being quiet. One thing that helped me besides getting older and caring less, is I started looking at confident quiet people, and viewing them as badasses. Like I want to be like them, they are quiet, relaxed, and confident, that is fucking badass man. I'ma be like that. And it actually worked.
I love you Andrew.
Great video idea
I agree Andrew we have the same insecurities 😂
That chug was glorious.
Casual ending bro. Much love to you! 😘 you rock! And make me laugh mucho. Embrace the introversion homie and fk society’s expectation to be a loud mouth. Love u
Awesome video
I felt you at the end
Great video idea, Andrew. I definitely related to your insecurity you talked about at the end.
Great video
How about you Andrew? What's your biggest insecurity? I guarantee you will never be forgotten by the millions and millions of people whose childhoods you have brightened with your pranks. We all remember you somewhere in our minds. :D
thanks man, I mention mine at the end ;)
@@LAHWF Oh, I had paused the video when you interviewed Marya and then got lost in the comments. Wow, I did not expect you to be so honest in your own answer there at the end. You're an incredible person. You should never feel bad about being introverted/low-energy. You are highly intelligent. Being high-energy is exhausting and usually involves being very shallow and babbling about extremely uninteresting things. High intelligence usually makes that kind of behavior very draining and painful. You're just a really smart guy in a world of shallow TikTokers, and yeah it can make you feel alien but you are absolutely not alien, nor are you alone. There are so many others who feel the exact same way as you do. We're not all made to be the "all singing, all dancing cr-p of the world".
As for your creativity and imagination, creative ideas and just you as a person: You are one of the most genuine people on this planet. It's so refreshing to see your honesty in a world where everyone's masking their true selves. You also bring out the best in people when you interview them. Your energy seems to bring them down to a calmer state where they also answer more honestly. You're seriously a great person and you are doing a great job with your creative output. Yesterday, I sent one of your videos to a friend. His reaction as "wow, I remember him, he's awesome!" and then he was hooked on your new interviews.
I really wish you the peace of mind you deserve. Thank you for having made my childhood so much fun. And it's beautiful seeing you again as a deeper and more mature creator. Merry Christmas, Andrew! :)
@@LAHWF I just remembered that you also mentioned procrastination. It's completely natural. You've been pushing yourself to create, and that's very exhausting in its own way. Then there's the worry about the future that we all have, about income, about life in general. Including the fact that RUclips is a stressful job where you have to wonder whether any time away from the platform will lead to losing your entire audience. And then on top of that there's your high intelligence which makes you self-doubt about whether your own creations are actually good or not. All of that creates a bunch of negative emotions around creation, which in turn infests the whole thing and makes you feel tired -- and that's what leads to putting things off. Which in turn stresses you out about not getting any creative output, not finishing, not creating, worrying about fading away -- which in turn leads to self-medicating to release that stress and anxiety, and so on.
Just know that all of that is completely natural. We're not made to push ourselves the way you've been. RUclips isn't a natural job for a human being. Heck, entertainment business isn't a natural job. That's what's unnatural here. Your feelings are completely natural. You're just a human like all of us, trying to figure things out. The secret is actually in your own name: "Losing all hope was freedom". Chuck Palahniuk was spot-on that nothing really matters that much. As long as you are happy with yourself and you've put out some good energy into the world, you've done your part. And you've already made millions and millions of people smile. Why push yourself super hard and burn yourself out? Relax, create at your own pace, on the days where you feel like it. When you feel that creative spark again. And please try not to be so harsh on yourself. You're experiencing classical burnout. Your mind shields itself by procrastinating. That's the body's sign that you need a break from all the thoughts and all the pressure. Or, at least, a break from the anguish of being so self-critical, which seems to be the biggest component of the negative feelings. You're so much better than you seem to realize, Andrew. Your videos are fascinating and serious, and you're doing a wonderful job being something much deeper in a world of shallow TikTokers. :)
My favorite of all your creative output has been the sit-down interviews with various people, and these street interviews with strangers. Like I said before, you bring out the deeper conversations from people very naturally. That's your greatest gift, Andrew. You're much, much greater than you seem to realize. :)
// Johnny from Sweden (figured I should share my real name too)
@@MyAmazingUsername You are so kind, I personally feel the same as Andrew and your words really helped me feel much better!
@@vigoolz241 I am so happy to hear that. Most pain seems to stem from comparing ourselves to others and trying to behave as "the hivemind" asks us to, in a world that's constantly focusing on the negative and the trivial. It's more important to ask: Why? Why act like that? Why do they act like that? What's the point?
If you can work on letting go of the world and its pressures, and finding joy in the beautiful moments that are around you all the time, you'll feel such a relief. Everyone gets so bogged down in small details, and miss the big picture: You are beautiful. You matter. Your life isn't worth less or more than anyone else's. Nobody has really figured out life. We're all here staring at smartphones while we're spinning through space on a huge rock, circling around a massive fireball, in a Universe that inevitably arose from absolutely nothing. The greatest miracle has already happened, and you are it.
There's so much beauty to be happy about in every life. Sometimes it can be hard to see it, but it's there. Watch a sunset at the ocean and tell me you feel nothing? Even something simple, like putting a blanket over yourself and watching a cozy movie is a miracle. You're watching that movie while you're flying through space on a giant rock spaceship, traveling at 107,226 km/h (66,627 mph) around the sun. What the hell, man. That's mindblowing! Let go of what doesn't matter. Relax. And enjoy the ride!
If you're feeling overwhelmed, try letting go of the things that matter the least. It usually just means that you've taken on too many things that don't matter and which just compete for your attention. No wonder there's chaos in there. ;) But you'll figure it out. Ask your heart what you feel good about and focus on that. :) If you're feeling like you're being judged by others, I would say that you should never feel bad about what makes you feel good. It's your life, not theirs. So much unhappiness comes from trying to conform and fit into the hivemind's "boxes". Most of them are just trying to force you into their own boxes to make you validate their own world views, so that they can feel like they've made the right choice. But the truth is that they haven't figured anything out either. Just relax, enjoy the little miracles of life, and do what makes you happy. :)
Letting go of negativity and pain might actually feel difficult at first, since you've had a lifetime of taking on the pain of each time you've ever doubted yourself... but you will get better at it with practice. You can learn to realize that it ultimately doesn't matter. We're on this freakish, cool rock-based spaceship, which used to have massive freaking Dinosaurs on it, and we're all a bit weird and crazy! This whole planet is a crazy, weird miracle! Desperate people are trying to force others into boxes, without realizing that it's all arbitrary and all decided by... who, exactly? And why would their opinions about life be more valid than yours? Who exactly decides all of that? Honestly... You do. We all decide for ourselves. There's no such thing as a wasted life or a "wrong" life. Every person you see around you, with all of their "super important problems", and "super important jobs" and all their wealth, will all be gone in the blink of an eye not long from now. We're all here for such a short time, so don't waste it living other people's lives. Live your own life. It's all good. It's all beautiful. You are beautiful. Stop running and start looking at the beauty all around you and in yourself. The beautiful little moments of life are already all around you. :)
Keep 'em comin', Drew! Churn them out like butter son.
yoo bro i can relate so much.. i've been watching you for years and we are very alike, i don't do pranks but damn, i get you
