What an excellent video! It's always amazing how a good paint job can make a cheap piece of crap look like something worth having. You are very talented, and I'm enjoying watching your fantastic videos. Thanks for the great tips, too.
The end result definately has a lot more class. Was glad to see you changed out the hardwear. The only question I have, is I noticed the drawers were wobbly when pulled out and pushed in. Did you remedy that so they moved smoothly?
thanks! no, i didn't. that's just a quirk of some of these older mdf pieces. they can't be perfected because they aren't made perfectly in the first place. so i did my best with what i had :)
To all the people who like to comment “you should have done it this way instead”: 1. Nobody asked 2. Go make your own RUclips videos Great job as usual, Holly 😄
Thank you for addressing clean up with the Slick Stick. I often wonder about rags I use and whether I can throw them in the washer and reuse them, or if I should just throw them away.
You never would have known it started out so ugly and ready for the dump.😲 ! Now it's ready for many more yes of use☺️. I love that more are refurbishing and not filling the landfill with useable items 🤗👍
Ok wow, what a night & day difference!! I love that you don't cut corners. It really shows in the final product. Awesome hardware too. I guess you have been keeping a secret about the "dungeon" where you work your magic"!!🌷🌷🌷
Are you doing all of this is the cold? You have a puff jacket on. Did the cooler temps affect the products in any way? The end result is nice. Lots of work on repairs, but you have mastered rescuing that type of furniture. Great vision. Amazing. Thanks for sharing.
This footage is a couple months old. I did take all my paint inside so it wouldn’t get too cold overnight. In the cold, things take a little bit longer to dry but other than that I didn’t have any problems. That’s so nice of you to say. Thank you so much. ☺️
“I’m going to need some help with adhesion, so I’m going to use…” That definitely reminded me of all the things I painted that were shiny when you were growing up that later on the paint could just be scratched off with a fingernail!!!😂
I’m looking for those exact knobs,! It’s for an old desk with holes spaced 2”. Yours look 2 inches as well. All my stores carry 3”. Where did u get your knobs.?
These handles are 2 1/2” unfortunately! I got them from Amazon. I just added them to the video description if you’d like to take a peek 👍🏻 Thanks for watching!
If you made it all the way to the end, let me know which blooper was your favorite! ;)
Your face when the kids scream and “well FYI for your information” hahahaha

Could you rephrase your question? I’m not sure i understand what your question is.
What about the sides of the drawers.
I am guessing she put them back together.

@dsteinly you might want to try a store in Portland OR… it’s Hippo Hardware on E Burnside Street.
I don’t know why but I LOVE to see everyone’s dirty water..is there something wrong with me? 🤪
No I love it too! That’s why I always like to show it!!
