Little damage to front screen. Other vehicles in the same class don't fair quite as well.
iihs, can you test the outlander and the outlander phev? ive looked at the ratings but i havent seen the crash test
What about the PHEV version? Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross PHEV weighs 550 kg more than a petrol automatic. I would have liked to see this crahs test. Does anyone know if PHEV is tested?
No
iihs, would you recommend rear passengers sitting in a reclined seating position to increase safety? seems like it would lessen the pain on the neck during an impact.
This is something I'd like to see a little research done on... my Tucson has rear seats that stand almost entirely straight up, or recline so far that you can just barely see out the back 3/4 window.
If I had to make an educated guess, the more upright you sit, the better you might be in the event of an accident. Although sitting completely upright doesn't seem safe to me.
owners manuals tell you not to sit reclined while driving, because you could slide under the seatbelt
IIHS i wish the honda & mitsubishi will not crash😢
Mitsubishi, a company that needs to improve the safety of their vehicles.
Luckily no one will be injured. To get into a crash, Mitsubishi would have to sell one of these things.
And I will buy a fully loaded 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV.
@@busystudying6711 lmaoo
@@busystudying6711 I’ve only seen these things in enterprise parking lots.
This is a safe car, it's just this is a new test, even other cars got a poor rating Mazda did worse lmao, before the updated test, the Eclipse Cross earned a top safety pick award.
Shame we dont get Mitsubishi no more.Stupid decision..
And I will buy a fully loaded 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV
@@RichardJoashTan You go for it bud😉
The dummie in the back waving one last goodbye has they crash
This is the most accurate crash test. The only people buying Mitsubishis are dummies.
BUT NOT ME BECAUSE I WILL BUY A FULLY LOADED 2023 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER PHEV SEL PREMIUM ANYWAY AND I AM THE MOST INTELLIGENT PERSON EVER.
You ain't too smart are ya , Mitsubishi has rock solid reliability, better than most American cars and European cars.
MOUSETRAP ON WHEELS
that would be the range rover velar
Those side airbags looked awful, so delayed and so little protection.
Okay. That’s what I was thinking.
Also, The Eclipse Cross also earn a poor rating in updated side test, especially the HRV too.
I absolutely despise of that SUV. I'm sorry for anyone who owns one but I absolutely hate it and could gon on for about half an hour ranting about how horrible it is (it's not even because they took the name from the 90s Eclipse)
