OMG ive been waiting for an LXE review forever! I cant wait to retire and full time RV in my 2033 Fleetwood Discovery LXE. 20 years down, 10 to go! Only 3669 more days till retirement!
We just purchased one of these, 2024 44B, so far we are very impressed with the quality. We traded in a 2023 Thor Pasadena B/X. After a 1,000 mile drive home and inspecting the coach from head to toe we are very pleased so far. The quality compared to the Thor is Amazing.
Thank You for the Comment! We are glad you are enjoying your Discovery LXE 44B! If you have any questions don't hesitate to reach out to our team ! - Mike -
We're already full-timing it in a Riverstone 5th wheel, but as we close-in on retirement in the next couple of years, we're upgrading to a motor coach. Either the Fleetwood 44B or the Holiday Rambler 44B (same company) is where we've landed. The floorpan is perfect for full-time travels and towing the Jeep Gladiator. Met Mike at Topper's RV in Waller, TX a few years ago. He's a great guy and knows his products. Hoping to see him at the Houston RV show in a few weeks. (mainly hoping he can help us get a great deal). 🙂
@oldschooloffroad345, We are excited that you are choosing the 44B to enjoy your retirement in!! And Yes, I will be at the Houston Show in February. Stop by and say Hi. I will be in the Holiday World display. Thank - Mike -
@@fleetwoodrv Thank you Mike for talking with us today at the 2024 Houston RV Show. The information you provided to us helped bust a couple of myths regarding egress doors and rear radiators. You were extremely helpful and kind enough to spend nearly an hour with us during a very busy show. Your friends at Holiday World were also very helpful and appear to be a great partner for Fleetwood. We look forward to talking with you again when we finally pull the trigger on our purchase. We also hope we were good “ambassadors” today with several potential customers. :-) Thank you again for everything. Take care. Blaine & Tela (aka: Sarge and Slinky) Old School Adventures
It is great that they gave the opten to remove the shelving in the master bedroom, but it does look complex. As someone who takes care of her mom, and the grandkids want to tag along, I'm just not sure about the option for hanging clothes. This is one that I would definitely have to see in person.
You can reach out to our factory service center for assistance on this if needed. Please visit our website at revrvserviceandrepair.com for more information on how to contact our service center. They will be able to provide you with the necessary support and guidance regarding your query.
Well, I saw a video where the front windshield is removed for the fridge replacement. It sounds worse than it actually is, but that’s the only way to get it out.
I have the 2023 model of this rv. It’s insane. We absolutely love most of it. A few items of constructive criticism: 1. Why is the shower seat on the side wall? It makes no sense. It should be on the back wall so it won’t add to the narrowness of the width. 2. Why did you switch the position of the diner and the kitchen from earlier models. TV viewing is now not accessible from the diner and the kitchen pantry suffers from the change. Now the kitchen has less counter space AND less pantry. Why? 3. No floor heating under the rear toilet. That’s kind of where you need it most on cold mornings. 4. Looking forward to when Fleetwood upgrades it,s AC vent layout so that the vents are unimpeded when the rv is closed. NOW THE BIG ONE: 5. The ticket price on this unit is well over half a million dollars. The seal system on the rv should be significantly better than it is for a unit in this price range. The bed slideout has major gaps where the slide rail lies. Bugs, snakes, small birds, rodents can all access the rv from UNDER THE BED. If I lift my bed platform, I can see the sunlight from the outside. All 4 slides have gaps in the seal design. (I assume much of the problem started when the designs began incorporating the tracks that were raised away from the storage bays, but I can’t be certain.) Furthermore, BOTH toilets are open at their back end to the undercarriage of the rv. (When we drive, stuff kicks up through the opening and sprays on the side of our shower.) Inexcusable for any price range, let alone a high end coach like this. Please, please, please work on sealing the interior off from the outside. I’ve had 2 Fleetwood diesel pushers. (2021 Pace Arrow LXE 38f and 2023 Discovery LXE 44b) and I mostly loved them but both of them suffer from this issue. I love Fleetwood, but this is a huge, unacceptable flaw. Huge.

My biggest concern is if you have issues or repairs needed done, will the manufacturer actually take responsibility or ignore cuz I’ve witnessed a lot of RVrs end up stranded cuz they won’t answer phones and or make excuses once you drive it off lot, there has to be a guarantee for repairs due to materials used to build these remarkable looking rigs, but overall what a beautiful RV definitely a great layout overall
I have this rv. Would’ve preferred the 44s, but that wasn’t available. Don,’t need those bunks at all, so we use them for storage… don’t knock the storage. Holy halibut, it’s a lot of storage. I stored the mattresses away and I can use it as storage with the bunk platform in place or locked up for hanging storage. It’s extremely useful. A lot to like about this rv. Some issues, like all rvs, but at this level, it’s got so many positives, it really works for us and the decor is beautiful. Fleetwood has my favorite decor, by a lot.
Also, the mirrors work well for us. They’re not in your face, like they would seem. They’re tucked away nicely and have the affect of enhancing the roominess. Works for me.
LOVE the blue light cold water recycling thing in the shower. BRILLIANT!
Thanks Jason, the Showermeiser is a great addition for the model year 2024 and benefit for owners. Save water!
Great floor plan really impressed with the side by side laundry much more convenient.
We agree!

Love this motorhome so much! This would be a great transition for taking the grandkids on trips!❤
This is the best layout I've seen! Checks all the boxes for me (minus the separate office space).

Great video. Thank you!

Several people have converted the bunk are to an office. Great idea. Thanks for the feedback.

Can I buy it as a home and live in it
You absolutely can!!
Very nice layout. But to many dang mirrors and the bunks have gotta go.
That is the great thing about the bunks. If you don't need them it converts to a walk in closet. Thanks for the comment.

The bunk area needs TVs!
thanks for the feedback.
IS IT ME THE CAMARA BUT EVERYTHING LOOKS LIKE A PUKE PINK .... REALLY STRANGE INSTEAD OF CRISP CLEAN WHITE! ....
Thanks Mark, it must be the camera... This coach is beautiful in person.
@@fleetwoodrv ~ I BELIEVE YOU ... I THINK IT HAS A BEAUTIFUL CLEAN DESIGN
These units are stunning in person. Really beautiful.
I do not like at all the bunks being in the master suite. Strange. Not all bunk needs are for kids.
Wow that’s the best one I seen wow
mike-rn2ue,

THIS SHOWS THAT THOSE other RV Are profiting huge when you could just buy one of these and have a way better one then the other ones
We think the Discovery LXE is a great coach for the price! Discovery is one of the best selling Class A Diesels for a reason. Thanks for watching.
