I've just realized why he was so happy that he won the jury (beyond the obvious reason). Technical things went wrong in this performance and it was really close to be fucked up, but not only did he manage to get over it, he also took that crazy high note in those circumstances! It always gives me goosebumps, it's just something out of this world. Even makes me cry, no matter how many times I've heard it and I guess that's awesome. It's not only about his voice, that it's obvious that it's amazing, but somehow on his charisma, in the way he achieves to transmit what he means, you know? And, if that wasn't enough, as you said, he looks like a down-to-earth guy, lovely and caring, and that makes me admire him even more!!! I'd love to have the chance to getting to know him one day to tell it to him 💯😊❤

Well... To be honest, he was my favourite by far from the beginning just because of what you said. Because his quality, in all senses, is something out of this world. But, watching the final, I discovered that some other countries were also quite good, and Italy was one of them, speaking for myself. I thought I was gonna be crossed if any of the others won instead, but, finally, I agreed it was also fair. The thing is that it's difficult to compare when they're complete different styles, don't you think? I guess they're both worthy, in their own way.

I was just wondering if he was like: if the judges recognise it, I have to impress them with this extra high note at the end. Not that I think he needed, great singer and he really fought for the votes. And won!
This song has such a weird-ass instrument tempo in that part at the start. The piano was off-beat or something. I could never sing the "decline" part on time, just like him in that moment. I always miss it

I think there was a minor technical problem that caused him to do that, he seemed to have recovered nicely from that
It must be really difficult for him to orient himself at the beginning, because the accompaniment is just one piano note.
