How did you celebrate Mid-Autumn Day? We went to the market during the day and bought some candies and fruits for the festival. I also visited Granny's and brought some snacks. This is called "Holiday Visit". As a "present in return", granny also picked some fruits and vegetables for me to bring home.
At night, after worshipping the moon, we got together and enjoyed the mooncakes. We chatted and danced to the music. Here in Yunnan, people would dance to music together during the festivals. During this get-together season of the year, with a bright full moon in the sky and great wine in our hands, I do wish you and your families good health and happiness every day. Love you, guys.

This is so beautiful. Cried when I saw grandma and grandpa bidding you goodbye. So much love from them to you. Cried when everyone was dancing together, so much love and warmth in the family. I was kind of surprised her grandma didn't have bound feet. I am thankful she didn't have to go threw that terrible painful abuse, but I was shocked considering her age. As well as knowing a lot of Chinese history. Maybe one day you should dress in hanfu!!!! Your already so beautiful, but I bet you would be drop dead gorgeous in hanfu!
@@stephanieramos7648 considering they don't live in a big city the chances of her having bound feet would be low since she had to work in the fields and all. dianxi xiaoge is also dai or bai chinese (if i'm not mistaken), not han; they can wear hanfu of course, but it's not their tradition either

I am 77 and wake up every day and consider it a gift, not to be wasted dwelling on regret for what I no longer have but to be savored, as every new day should be.

Actually I felt sad thinking that they’re lonely and did not see anyone around. My both granny died in this year and they were old like them. Seeing them kind of reminds me of my grannies and how much they loved me.And in this old age they were weak, they had been suffering.

I love these videos. Reminds me of growing up in the Philippines. We lived with my grandma, and her siblings lived in houses next door along with their kids and their kids. My cousins and I would go around the neighborhood picking and eating fruits from trees. Then we'd all occasionally eat outdoors in my grandma's courtyard.

This video remind me of my childhood time, No TV, No Internet, No Smart Phone. We all spend our time with our family happily. At that time Mid Autumn is such a greatest night ever. Holding our Beer-Can-Lanthern walking around the village visiting our neighbors. We gathering together, talking, playing and dancing waiting for the worship to finish and enjoy our mooncake. 🥮 🌛

I live in a very remote village in Yunnan, with electricity and internet, and convenient transportation, but we still retain a lot of traditional lifestyles. My mother borned and grew up in remote mountains in Guizhou (a province next to Yunnan), just like Dianxi. While my father borned in Taiwan😅😅Though I've become a globalized person, when I watch Dianxi's vedio, I always look forward to living there once in my lifetime. Get away from city noises, try those traditional dances and enjoy the nature
I heard Guizhou is amazing. Unfortunately I haven't gotten the chance to visit too many country side locations in China. I used to visit my grandpa in Jinan while I still could. Even though it was in the city I still enjoyed it. :) I love going to Xiamen cause the seaside view is amazing. Zibo is where my grandpa is from and since they live in the rural part of Zibo the food, culture, and language there is pretty amazing. Can't wait to go back to China some time.

True. I think linziqi is more on acting to make the filming perfect. Unlike, Dianxi she is more genuine ...i can feel her being a genuine person. She does not act, it is her passion and u can see it tru her actions. She love what she's doing that's why the outcome is perfect. @@ylaavllsc2622 yes, I love that part too. I once read a article about her, she used to be a police woman, and before she back to her home town, she saved other people’s lives , two times. One is a bus on fire, another one I forgot. Dianxi really is perfect in every way. She is a very good person.
Edit: bus fire thing was when she was a College student, 2011, she was on news back then.

They're different people with different styles in making their videos.
Liziqi's videos are more advanced because she has studied more into it. And her videos are a lot more into "COOKING/CHEF" series because that's what she is😂 Nonetheless I don't believe you should degrade another persons hardwork just to justify and praise another person. 😊
