The elderly in the village watched me grow up, and they're very kind to me. We meet almost every day in the village, and they always give me something delicious. However, this is the first time I've officially invited them to a reunion dinner...Xishuangbanna's pineapple rice, Dali's raw hide, Dehong's lemon cold chicken... 16 dishes correspond to 16 cities in Yunnan, forming a food map of Yunnan.
I've cooked a lot of Yunnan dishes, but it's my first time to cook 16 dishes at a time and arrange them to make a map of Yunnan. My grandparents and their friends are so happy...I hope they will be healthy and safe, and be together every year!

This just made me cry, of joy to see the care for each other, the hard work you see the older generation are still doing and sadness of the reality of our elders especially when her grandma said people of her age are now passing away. But still this is such a moving and great video 😊

I love that Granny even got all dressed up for the occasion, with her red coat and pretty pink hat! It tore at the heartstrings when your grandma said that everyone close were passing away and seemed to mourn getting old. You did something very sweet for her. I work in a store, I meet a lot of elderly daily and I often hear them mention how scary it can be to age. I see it in my parents too to be honest. Im glad that you helped your close ones to cherish life for what it is.
