    Honestly I've given up the Kibbe system because I couldn't identify myself in it. But now I think I might have found my type! When I was younger a lot of people used to tell me I looked like Lady GaGa and I agree. I'm small, lean and strong-ish, I think I have many masculine traits (nose, hand, feet) but at the same time people tend to see me as delicate and young. Thank you :)

    Dear Aly can you make a video on total makeover on a real life person on the basis of kibbe system
    It's a little risky but highly rewardin
    And few other video ideas I have
    1. How to pose for photos
    2.fabrics for body type
    3. wedding gown for body type
    4.Ethincity based variations in kibbe typing. Like in some countries average height is much lesser than 5'5" Which makes is difficult to type accurately.
    5.What all should be specifically avoided for one's body type

And it’s odd seeing these celebrity pics because I’m realizing I have nearly their exact body shape, specifically Emma roberts. I’ve been thinking about being SC or FG. I previously thought I was proportional like a classic, but there was something missing, I never feel like myself in SC styles. When you talked about the childlike quality of FG, I feel like it made a lot more sense with my essence and face, than SC. I also don’t look super tall, and have slightly more delicate bones than others of my race. I hope I’m going in the right direction. Thanks for this! 😊

    • @bethanyday3471

      follow your lines in classic clothing pieces. its actually pretty simple if you just go by the lines. a good example that fits this video is FG could easily wear a nice pair fitted trousers in a slightly heavier looking fabric, a cotton button up with the sleeves rolled up and some moccasins.

    • @Dan_Chiron
      @Dan_Chiron 3 года назад +4

      You can wear your same lines in a looser fit, bearing in mind the weight and the hangs of the fabrics, no matter what fabric it is. For example, if you're a Classic and you look great in a buttoned up, stiff collared white shirt but now you feel too constrained in it, you can use a symmetrical mid-weight buttoned up cardigan.

      Not to add to your confusion lol but as an FG one thing I've definitely noticed is that I'm a lot narrower than my non-G friends. Not just shoulders but like my entire torso/ribcage. Ok here comes a possibly unpopular opinion😄: I find the physical aspects of kibbe VERY helpful, but I don’t agree with the terms yin/yang, nor the description of the essence/energy. I don’t believe any part of our personality is detirmined by our physical festures, just doesn’t make sense. I know for sure that a tall, slim, sharp, elongated woman kan be just as bubbly in their ”essence” as a FG or whoever. Also the ”vibe” we give off can naturally change throughout our lives.

    • @GanaEstilo
      @GanaEstilo 3 года назад +10

      Good point. I think some women have a certain body type and a different essence. I believe that's possible. It's difficult, though, to figure out if personality is the same as essence. What I mean by that is that the personality is a "trained" character, influenced by the circumstances we were brought up in, the people in our lives and the experiences we lived. And the essence, on the other hand, is our true self, the way we are when we're totally free and true to ourselves.

    • @Spikypotato.
      @Spikypotato. 3 года назад +8

      @@GanaEstilo Yes! just as an example, when I was typed as a romantic, I noticed that I started to show those vibes more and kinda look for those vibes more in me...it did affect me in that direction, rather then let out my ”true self”. My true self is not that narrow, if I may say🤓 we are all mixes of so much, like a bouquet rather then one specific flower. So. For me, I just feel more comfortable to use the physical tips&tricks for my body type (and it has helped me A LOT to be more body positive), but the essence part I’d rather keep separate. But of course, to each their own approach:)

    • @Smoothjazz001
      @Smoothjazz001 3 года назад +4

      As for essence, it’s a separate concept to the physical types entirely. In other words, the kibbe typing system and the essence system are different from what I understand.

I’m pretty sure I’m a SG anyways (particularly noticeable when im at a healthy weight, as I do get a bit busty then as well as having a rounded bottom.) and the clothing recommendations mostly suit me better for the SG because body clothing makes me look frumpy and hides my best asset- my very small waist. However, the SG apparently has short arms and legs, and while my arms are short for my height, my legs are slightly long for my height. So I’m left quite confused

    • @littlemissfrostbite5204

      FG are slightly broad (mostly in the shoulders and/or face I think) but the overall bones structure is still narrow. SN have more obvious width.

      @@christinemaure4216 The biggest difference that I have noticed between FG and SN is what Kibbe refers to as "broad angularity" instead of just broadness. My sister (SN) is taller and more broad-shouldered than I am, yang in frame, but because of her yin flesh, she is not particularly angular, not sharp. She has a long, oval shape to her body instead. I am smaller, my frame is more delicate, yin, but I do have that angularity Kibbe talks about because of my taut yang flesh, so I look more boxy. The difference becomes much more obvious when applying Kibbe's wardrobe recommendations. When I wear SN head-to-toe looks, I look like my clothes are too big for me, even if they're technically in my size. If my sister wears FG head-to-toe looks, it's like the clothes are too tight for her, too restrictive. Her frame just doesn't like the structure of those shorter, sharper shapes. I hope this helps! Let me know if there are any other questions I can answer regarding these types!

    i think I am a flamboyant gamine my body is quite angular, compact, i am 152 and 52kg ( iam not overweight), however I have big cup size but a small chest (30 E) which give me what i call a "hammer" figure and the descriptions always say that they never gain weight on their bust so i am not sure. if i ignore my cup size my body looks the same as most flamboyant gamine. in styling i feel like i always look top heavy.

It’s funny that in this video Ally says the two have little in common besides a short to modern height. That tells me I really don’t understand this system at all. I came to my conclusion that I’m likely a SN because the clothing styles look better on me and my repetitive “squareness” in my shoulders, face, hands, and even thumbnail beds suggests I’m some kind of Natural

    Not as straight and sharp as dramatic (I look terrible in long clothes like trenchcoat), not wide and big as naturals, not proportional as classics, not small as gamines, not voluptuous as romantic...
    People always say I look at least 5'7 even being 5'5... inverted triangle body shape with broader shoulders, moderate boobs, small waist and narrow hips... very very thin limbs (like my wrist is the same width as a 10 year old lol), not that muscular, not too much flesh, but not completely thin as dramatic... my face looks round but I have a strong jaw line.... my facial features are all round and small
