I can't believe Clarence Thomas can't be removed.
Clarence Thomas CAN be impeached, convicted, then removed by Congress -- but I doubt it will happen. The last time a Supreme Court justice was impeached, was in 1805, but he was NOT removed from office, because he (Samuel Chase) was acquitted in the Senate.
He should be impeached. He’s the only Supreme Court judge to try to bar getting Jan 6 evidence from the national archives.

Actually "likely a crime" means that is the threshold or floor for whatever the judge was deciding. In jury trials the judge makes rulings on law or procedure not on facts. The jury decides whether a crime took place and whether they are guilty. A judge is more like a referee than a player. In France which is a civil code system a judge is more like a police detective but America inherited the common law system from the U.K.
And until that starfish proves it in court a judge cannot say if its definitely a crime .every starfish in the ocean can be positive that it is a crime but until proven , it is not a crime

It's hard to believe Clarence Thomas sits on the supreme court, as he had less than one year of experience as a judge when he was nominated. Compare that to Ketanji Brown Jackson, who has been a judge in every way possible... defense lawyer, prosecutor, appeals judge, etc. In fact, she has the most experience compared to any judge on the supreme court. It's remarkable how the GOP seems to find the least qualified people for the most important jobs in government.

It's about his loved one pressuring the WH Chief of Staff to coordinate the overthrow of our government and actively participating in that coordination and the fact that her husband was the only judge who voted against releasing Mark Meadows' documents to the Jan 6 Committee and would not give an explanation for his vote. He was acting as her "best friend" instead of acting as an impartial judge. Conduct unbecoming is a court martial offense in the military. SCOTUS judges should be held to a higher standard. Thomas should be impeached but the Republicans in the Senate will never do it.
