There is provision of using the same old rail link after the new bridge is finished. As in case you didn’t know, the old bridge is heritage listed.

Looks like an awesome construction, I did some research and Tasmania stopped its rail passenger service in the 1970’s and freight is on other side of the bridge…
So no need for a rail component of the new bridge ?
