tried this using literally 10 different braid and fluro and mono combos......The best knot I have ever tied and used is the FG Knot - I use the Aussie "FG WHIZZ" tool - it is cheap, and foolproof, and I have tested the Whizz FG vs literally maybe 15 other braid to mono knots, and the FG ( if tied correctly ) - is the best overall....No it is not the quickest and easiest knot to tie, but overall the best knot....

yes sir im filipino..🙏 me too i like more FG knot specialy in deep sea fishing bcoz its very smooth and cannot affect fishing rod ring guide.. I using SC knot for casting only shore jigging...1ft distance to knot leader line (1meter) to main line, before ring guide for safety sir...
At 2:10, do you pull your leader, braid tag end and the main line braid through the loop? If the main line braid is attached to a rod, how do you do that? Or am I missing that in the video?
When tying the 3 to 5 half hitch, seems to me would be all you need....why so many more ? has anyone tried using this knot with just 3 to 5 half hitch and cut the ends....go fishing. Looks like a lot of tying at the end, thus takes too long to tie.
Before trying to teach people to tie a knot you better learn how to keep from damaging your reels...and how to fix it when you do.. 0:18 you can clearly see the gouges in the rim of the spool,my guess from dropping it.. It's going to end up eating the line when casting.
@@mattconroy869 Those are not line gouges,line whether it be braid,fluro,or mono will not gouge a aluminum spool. That was done by dropping it on concrete or most likely asphalt or rocks.
cannot bhe damage fishing reel sir..bcoz that fishing knot is for casting knot,,not for jigging knot sir,and only 1-1 1/2 meter long flourocarbon leader needed for casting sir.. thank you for your coment a learn something for you too..

That is no good. The end of your leader line will catch EVERYTHING and beat the shit out your rod guides.
