Just imagine looking away for 1 second and u miss witnessing a world record solve
0.91 bro
Like that guy and girl behind him
I was looking at this comment when it happened
That only took 3 moves to solve smh..
Or if u blink
Bruh I swear all the colours just changed instantly. That speed is insane.
It wasn't really speed Based he just got a good scramble
@@Jeff_isAverage Agreed
Try playing the video on 0.25 speed
Wtf was that just 3 moves? Cus i swear i watched it in 0.25 speed and i only saw him do 3 moves
0.25 speed is still too fast for me
If its still too fast
Screen record it at 0.25 speed and slow it down even more
I go to 0.25 speed and it only took 3 moves
Me too!!!
you forgot the tips, there was a front and a right tip but he did them so fast

if you play the video frame by frame with the "." and "," keys, you can actually see that he already finished the cube at 0.55 and drops it at 0.681
Damn now that you have made me aware of that I ask myself why they dont look back on the footage and Judge it on that. The Person who measures the time has to have a high reaction time and sometimes that's probably not the case wich probably means that inaccuracies are regular occasion wich shouldn't be in competitions like these where time is the goal of the Competition.
@@realSandrow the timer starts and stops by cuber putting both hands on the timer, not by the person right next to him. The display lags behind a tiny bit too.
If timing was reviewed frame perfectly it's just one more way for people to falsely claim better times, having them physically use the device to time it makes it so everyone has the same requirement.
But yeah, half a second to solve a puzzle is p nuts.
Putting your hands back on the machine is part of the puzzle
the timer lags behind a bit, you can see that it still ticks up for a couple of frames after his hands are back on the pad
That was literally only 4 turns away from solve wtf
Jamie_ Buildz lol
Jamie_ Buildz no it’s not it’s actually official, I also thought it was fake at first but it’s actually real.
Jamie_ Buildz 6 turns, 3 tips then 3 moves. It was done at an official competition and is listed as the official wr. It is not fake
Lucky scramble i guess
Jamie_ Buildz tips count as moves lmaooooooooooo fact check before you insult people you dimwit
It was just a Lucky Scramble, it happened to everyone at least once, stop saying it's fake
@trxpped No it doesn't, you probably missed the u move

For the record, the maximum possible number of moves to solve a Pyraminx (optimally) is 11. This doesn't include the tips, just rotating the bigger triangles. I actually went frame-by-frame and copied his initial setup into a Pyraminx solver (because I'm insane!) and the optimal solution was 3 tip moves and 3 bigger moves, which is what it looks like he does in the video. So he spent 8 seconds analyzing it and found the optimal solution, which is pretty cool! Maybe seasoned solvers can all do that on a partially-solved Pyraminx, I'm not sure.
The commenters saying he got lucky aren't totally wrong, honestly, because the odds of getting an initial position which takes 3 or less moves to solve is about 1 in 2,700. That being said, kid analyzed it in 8 seconds and solved in in

Lmao not the comments saying it's fake when it has legit been proved real and is official. Plus, just because he did it in 3 turns doesn't mean it didn't take skill, he had to play out multiple possibilities in his head during the inspection, mixed with some luck from the scramble.

Ok, I'm not a speed-cuber but I can actually solve this. I have it at home; it's kind of like my own fidget-spinner. Anyway, this seems fack to me; am I wrong?
The most outstanding thing about this record is that not only did he get a pretty easy scramble, but he also analyzed the most optimum turn to solve it in 8 seconds, which I believe only 3-4 moves excluding the corner turn.
for everyone pointing out how many moves it took the tips do count meaning it was 6 moves which is within the wca regulations specifically 4b3f
"4b3f) Pyraminx: The (random) state must require at least 6 moves to solve."
were just not impressed that he had literally the easiest possible set up for this
@@fulltimeslackerii8229 To some extent that's the nature of the sport. A fast solve will come from a combination of an easy scramble, the solver's ability to spot the fast route through it, and then executing quickly.
Though he did get a lucky scramble, the ability to recognize it and execute is important too!
Xd
It actually ended at .813, but the machine was off by .1 seconds
I can't... The happiness is indescribable
Great job

Imagine get before solving already assembled cube and set a world record 0.001 sec
i have a pyraminx for 2 years now ...and i know how to solve it ..but this is confusing because he solved the pyraminx with just 3-4 moves man ...if someones even scrambles it and reverse it it can not be this fast...
Forty thousand years and we barrely tapped into the world record pyraminx single potential.
Damn he move like 2 turns and am here watching this video with my rubix cube make me wanna quit
Bro it’s rigged it only took 3 moves probably barely mixed it up go to .25 play speed
That's how pyraminx works. I just learnt yesterday and I can solve it in 3 to 4 seconds. Usually it's about 6 moves away from solved state
If it’s so easy why don’t you get world record
Boden Harris try turning something 3 times, it’s easy doesn’t mean you are going to get a world record
Erm actually it was second 🤓☝️
I always surprised by this kind of community because they are not toxic competitors, ppl thinking about the other's and happy for the other ppls achievements
Its cubing, its competitive but whenever someone wins all the competitors or everyone congratulates them, some that aren't in the community will call it fake but it's real.
I know it's not in the rules but I'd prefer that they would start the timer when he actually sees the puzzle. For me this seems like a math puzzle and they would time the time how long it takes to write the answer. Technically he starts to solve the puzzle when he sees the puzzle. Still it's really impressive how fast they can solve them.
Exactly. The part where you actually solve the puzzle is when you see it. The part where you turn the pyramid is when they are executing the solution. The world record is for who has the fastest hands, not who has the best solving skills
@@mehcoolbro Agree, Altho they have like max 12 seconds to see and solve the puzzle according to the rules. But still, one could take risks and try execute the solution in less time.
competition question: I have an average of 1:02 now and a PB of 47 secs on a 3x3 so I'm thin king of going to some competitions. Do you bring your own cube or do they provide? Also, is there a limit to how many times you can attempt a solve at a competition?
You bring your own cube and you first do your ao5 then if you make it to the next round you get to do another ao5
2x speed is a meme
Imao, See in 0.25X and u can see he tapped the timer when it was 0.813 But stopped in 0.914

He's record isn't 0.91 he's record 0.68
He was actually done solving at 0.550, the rest of the time was him putting his hands down to the pads. That's astounding!
I Want To Know How He Solve The Cube With Only 2 Moves Watch In 0.25x
I can do pyramid in about 2 seconds if I investigate it before the timer. You are allowed to do that in these which I find makes it less incredible.
It actually ended at .681, the machine was a bit late
All the people arguing that it's fake shut up it's not fake it's a lucky scramble deal with it you cant change it now
Respect for the people who watched it in 2x instead of 0.25x LOL
When is he going to start... oh just finished
Why people is saying that is fake?
This seems familiar
Who else turn the speed to 0,25×?
Not fair he has prep time
Robot would solve that rubiks cube in 0.0s.
He finished at 0.681
He solved the pyramid at 0.550 but pushed the stopwatch to 0.914. He spent almost half the time the stopwatch told him pressing the button.
