I have successfully added the holes after shrinking. Get a cutting mat and a thumbtack/ pushpin and hammer it gently to make a hole. I have also, when a piece was too long, scored the hardened plastic with a knife and metal edge ruler, drag the blade about ten times or more and snap it.
did you know that when you cook the shrinky dink long enough it creates that 3D bubbly texture that you get with embossing powder... i just don't get the kinks of it yet. (like how long you have to cook it , and sometimes when you don't cook it long enough it creates little bubbles within the plastic.) All i know for sure is that you cook it at 400 degrees. i think its called fusing in the instruction sheet. and to experiment with that i would suggest a cheaper shrinky dink packet. i use clear and ruff n ready($4-6 @hobby Lobby). Maybe you can find out more about it than i can. and it looks great
I brought white ink jet Shrinky dink sheets, I know there are clear see through ones too. which ones do you recommend for putting photos? clear or white?
mostly craft stores like joannes or michaels sell em, or you can buy online at dickblick[dot]com or hobbylobby[dot]com.. also note you need to set the opacity to 50 or else theyll be too dark!
+tonichan101 I know this is 2 years ago, but I feel the need to answer this for anybody else who may have the question. 325C would be 617F... So, yeah.. Definitely 325F. I don't think anything goes up to 600+F/300+C, but in case if you somehow have a device that does, I just wanted to keep someone from burning their house down.. lol
How ADORABLE are you in that polka dot dress!! LOVE IT!
You're AWESOME!! Now I know exactly what to do! Btw I love your big babbit necklace!

Shouldn't you shake the excess embossing powder off the paper before you bake it?

Is there a specific kind of embossing powder you need to buy?
she doesn't explain how she got the images on the shrink plastic unless those are hand drawn
I think she prints them onto the shrink plastic using a color printer.
What size should the images be? Any size? 45 mm images
