So wonderful seeing the shrink plastic again. Had entirely forgotten about it... but now with the dies, it's even better. What is better is hearing your voice again. Cheers, dear boy. joanie
These pieces turned out beautifully! Thanks so much for showing both black and white shrink plastic and also thank you for sharing the tape roll trick! That's brilliant and I've always battled that stuff flying around! :-)
I love the magic of shrink plastic and had no idea I could use color pencil on it. I cannot wait to try this.
Haven't used shrink plastic in a long time. I forgot what a fun project it is! Love the finished pieces!
So clever your technique!
love how vibrant they came out and then what you did with it in a card.................pat
This was so cool Dave and you picked the perfect piece to color and shrink...TFS!
These are so cute Dave, I haven't done this since my kids were little. A great idea for on cards though. Love it.
Great idea for accent pieces! Thanks for sharing this video.
What a great video and showing how to fix it when it curls and sticks, thank you so much
Love this technique. The stamp is beautiful.
Thank you so much for the great idea, lovevthat, so pretty . Love watching to see what you do next. You are very talented . Tfs, have an awesome day
Dave - love the tape roll use!!!
I love that you used a heat gun instead of putting it in an oven. Will definitely try this instead of the oven.
Have to admit, I've watched a lot of shrink plastic videos and this is the first that's used sandpaper. Good call.
Such fun & beautiful projects!
I've never used shrink plastic. I feel left out! The finished product is so cool.
Love this--thanks for the tips.
Such a fun technique!
WOW! WOW! This is really good thanks
I’ve never seen a fold-over stamping method (I dunno what it’s called, I do t do stamping)
Where did you get that or did you make it? How did you make it and how do you get the stamp to stick onto the clear grid?
I really need help with this ! I did use my prismacolour pencils after I baked them they looked super grainy !!!! What should I dooooo?! 😭😭😭
Thank you for sharing this great idea, but what is that item called, where you placed the heart stamp onto the thing with the 3 hinges & the door, this thing is great, because stamping isn't always done perfectly the 1st time, please respond, thanks.
This is such a great idea. I love the cards. Where did you get the black shrink plastic?
Can you tell me where I can find stamps and clip art large enough to use for shrink? Can't find anything.
Great style you
I used to do this years ago for cards for my nieces, but I would add a hole, ( before shrinking)and after they received the card they could remove the accent piece and the chain or pretty skinny ribbon( that I also included in the card) and have a pretty necklace to wear
What a wonderful idea! Thanks for the suggestion.
where do l buy this shrink plastic? thanks
well WHO KNEW?!?! Dave did! LOve this little charming heart ... hope you've added a source for the shrink plastic - off to look! Thanks!!! =]
Hi Dave - Does the shrink plastic come in clear?
It sure does! And you can then color on the front...or the back!
Great demo! Thank you for sharing your knowledge, talent, time and inspiration. Sadly it looks like the wireworks stamp is no longer in production. What a beauty especially the way you colored it.
After searching all of the links and comments, I am still mystified.
WHAT is that ingenious device you are using to hold the paper and the stamp in alignment for the re-inking process???
You have done a great job here. I really enjoyed your presentation and found it very instructive as well as inspirational. Keep up the good work.
Razz Van Winkle Did anyone ever answer her question about the stamp alignment device he used is called?
