Notion AI just got 10x better. Before, it was a nice-to-have tool with fairly niche use cases. Definitely not something for every Notion User. But with the release of Notion Q&A, it's now probably a must-have upgrade for many workspaces.
You can think of Notion Q&A as ChatGPT for your Notion Data. Ask any question and Notion will automatically search through your workspace to generate an answer.
That means that your knowledge in Notion is all of the sudden searchable with a simple command. Whether you use Notion as a wiki for your company or as your personal Zettelkasten, this will unlock tons of benefits and change the way we interact with information forever.
This isn't great news for all the AI startups building custom wrappers for ChatGPT - they're simply no longer needed. For anyone else however, this is great news and another step towards truly revolutionising AI technology.

It will work with voice if you combine it with the dictation features - so either your phone once it is on mobile or your laptop‘s input.
Yeah they are rolling it out step by step but should be going much faster than last time!
Would be nice if we can add additional external websites/ressources to the AI Q&A function (for example help documentation of software, coding examples of a visual studio project or good blogs)

No you can’t use it to troubleshoot anything atm - it just answers questions based on your knowledge inside Notion 😇
But given the speed of development, I don’t think this is far away either 😎
I'd kept Notion Ai as it was just so convent in the app, but filtered so much down to send to GPT .. this is wild though. While not 100% accurate, I'm blown away at just how good it does both specific technical stuff and summary stuff. Can't wait to see more use cases .. I'm sure people will find great ways to put this to work

Is Notion Q & A able to interrogate pdfs added to the files and media database property?

@@mfreihaendig **sadness** if they were then I pretty much truly wouldn't have use for other AI. Could you talk about the uses of making a wiki out of pags. Not sure how that works or its uses. Is that in the big beautiful 99 tips video? I planto watch that one anyway.
I have a recipe database. Could I ask notion ai to build a meal plan based on my list and ingredients I have in stock?

Would have to test this - I would assume it’s possible, but not 100% sure how much prompting they have going on to restrict it to purely resurfacing knowledge vs using it
Es wäre echt super, wenn Du die Vorträge auch auf Deutsch halten könntest, ich tue mich echt schwer, das Ganze auf englisch wirklich zu verstehen - wie vermutlich viele andere auch.

Ich wäre von Videos auf Deutsch auch total begeistert. Ich glaube, es gibt immer mehr deutschsprachige Notionbeginner. Die Einstiegshürde für Anfänger in Notion wäre mit Hilfe von deutschsprachigen Videos von dir deutlich geringer.
Gross exaggeration. Nothing new. Every consolidation platform is integrating this. Notion is still mid at best.
Disagree! This is a huge jump in usability for AI for everyday users. Other platforms will surely follow suit, but all the specialised ai tools that were only doing this will have a really hard time justifying their existence if non-AI-first tools can do the same
