Super helpful! I am wondering how to modify the formula to only use weekdays. I know I can have a formula that tells me the weekday based on a date. So wondering how to create a nested if statement that would say if do day Mo, Tue, Wed or Thur advance by one day. If do day is Friday, advance three days. (And yes, I use do day not due day, not that it matters at all, just explaining my "typo").

Hi, do you know why I am getting an error "Unable to extract data from PDF Files" it worked when I uploaded an invoice but not when uploading a credit card statement. I tried it in chat GPT with JSOn and it worked fine it just seems to not be working in Relay.

Now, how would you do for people wanting to create client portals : the master DB has a relation to a Companies DB, and the automation needs to dispatch data to the various Customer Public DB ? It's unfortunate that Notion doesn't provide a way to restrict views to the master DB. There is a way to partially do that with views + advanced database filters -> one can share a page with the view + advanced DB filter shared to customer but at this point, the master DB must be shared as well, which doesn't make much sense since in the world of real DBs, one can share views without having to share the master table on which the views are based...

Is it also possible to have the link to the invoice in google drive be the value in a Google Drive Property in Notion or would the link not be generated that quickly? Alternatively, can it be uploaded to an image property through the same method?

Hi! My category formula doesn't seem to work... I've copied the formula from the video and adapted it to my data --> prop("Items").filter(and(current.prop("Type")=="Outflow",current.prop("Category")=="Hogar")).map(current.prop("Amount")).sum() It's weird because it doesn't give back an error message, it give sa 0.00€ amount, although I already have Items with the "Hogar" category in them. Do you know what may be going wrong? The Total spent formula is working though! Thank you!!!

Hey! Great vid. I'm having a couple of problems with the "next task" column. The "Next task" function is very cool, but in my tests, it doesn't work correctly if there are 2 subtasks with the same due date. In this case, if the 1st task is marked as completed, it continues to display this item as "next task". Also, would there be a way to also display the "Next task" information in the subtasks themselves? Because the information is only available in the main task line.

Hi Matthias. I so appreciate that you respond when I ask questions so thank you for that. I have another question.... I have a notion page where i created a form. The form link is what I share on another notion page and i give individual access to the page. When they click on the link to a form, they get the message "Continue to external site by following the link below". How can I make it to just open the link without giving the message for them to click on?

Thanks so much for this clear tutorial, Mathias! One lifestyle improvement I'd like to suggest for folks is to create 2 properties: 1) # property for Recur Interval and 2) a select property for Recur Unit. Make the values exactly Months, Weeks, Days. Then just plug those into the DateAdd function to avoid any manual setting of days or rounding months. i.e. dateAdd(Trigger page.Recur Interval, Trigger page.Recur Unit)

One recurring method I always wanted in a calendar is one based off another recurring event. For example if I have meetings on every third Thursday and I need to complete a task 9 days prior, there isn’t a consistent recur interval I can rely on. With your method, it seems like it’s theoretically possible to reference a specific recur interval and minus 9 or whatever number from that day

Do you think it’s better for the mirror to have the properties of the original and then update the original instead for keeping any additional history? In my mind maybe you want to keep have a filtered database inside the original that shows every task with the same name so that it is a historic list of the page copies that were closed.
