93-02 FBody Camaro Firebird front suspension rebuild and self alignment

  • I rebuilt, replaced the struts, upper and lower control arms, sway bar end links, tie rod end boots on my 1996 Pontiac Firebird WS6 Trans Am. This will apply to all 93-02 FBody Camaro's and Firebird's. I used the Bilstein HD shocks. This video is an overview of my experience with some tips and tricks for those looking to do the same work from their home garage just using a floor jack and jack stands. I also do a self alignment using the jack stands and some string. Everything worked out really well. Enjoy the video and please comment with any questions or comments. Thanks

    Great job !!.....I'm in process of doing same as you.....only 1994 New England car....Chevy Camaro Z28....front suspension rebuild beat me UP !!.....61 YO retired mechanic......lot of work rebuilding this front end......went same as you......Thank You for your very informing video......Job well done man.

    Damn wish I had watched this before doing my lower control arms. Looks like the carbide blades worked really well.

    Great video bud I definitely picked up a couple tips I might use in da future,hey since u did all that steering upgrades I recommend some subframe connectors to keep ur car more centered,,beautiful T/A man

      Great so far. I’ve only put probably 2k miles on it but really happy with how everything feels. Very much like stock
